WHEN DRIVING ON I-355, MANY DASHBOARD LIGHTS WENT UP AND CAR TEMPERATURE IS VERY HIGH TOO. IT IS A BRAND NEW TOYOTA COROLLA (<2000 MILES). HAD TO TOW IT TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT A RODENT CHEWED UP AC AND COOLANT TUBES. NEVER HEARD OF IT. WHAT A LOUSY DESIGN OR PARTS THAT ATTRACT RODENTS. *TR
OUR 2007 TOYOTA COROLLA HAS A FAILURE IN THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. AFTER THE WINTER, THE A/C WAS TURNED ON AND IT WOULD NOT COOL. FREON WAS PUT INTO THE SYSTEM AND IT COOLED DOWN AGAIN. HOWEVER, A HISSING NOISE WAS COMING FROM THE CAR AFTER PUTTING IN THE FREON. TURNS OUT THERE IS A LEAK IN THE AIR CONDITIONER'S CONDENSER. THE TSB ON THE 2003 - 3005 COROLLA INDICATED THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. SUPPOSEDLY, TOYOTA CORRECTED THIS PROBLEM ON FUTURE COROLLA'S, BUT EVIDENTLY THERE IS STILL A PROBLEM WITH IT. WE ARE HAVING THE CONDENSER REPLACED. *TR
