Between 75-85 miles an hour, the car gets sluggish, acting like it cannot "stay in gear" and the rpms shoot around wildly. It gets worse when it is hotter outside. It feels like it loses power and then shoots up in power erratically, typically in that speed range. My car has only 54620 miles on it

Car started with a light vibration and after driving for a few feet would no longer accelerate when pressing the gas. For the first few days it would violently jolt like if someone hit me before gaining speed, but when i hit the brake it lags to accelerate. Now the fastest it goes it 20mph. If I press the gas pedal the engine makes a loud noise but does not speed. The dealer provided a code P2895 and suggested changing the whole transmission. The transmission started with acceleration speed issues, after about a week, it started stuttering and failing to accelerate at all. My transmission has went out 3 or 4 times now. Nissan has replaced it and the same issue keeps occurring. I was driving in the middle of the intersection and my car just stopped. CEL light came on while driving, took car to O'Reilley's who reported a P0101 sensor reading. Assistant manager said that that is a common sensor to fail, however, when I purchased my car at Carmax 2 years ago, they had replaced it.

My Vehicles stalled on me on multiple occasions one in particular I was with my family including my two year old daughter. when the car began to violently jerk on the NJ turnpike, total ambarassment ensued and ultimately I had to drive that way for about an hour or so. On Saturday, 25 SEP 2021, my wife and I departed San Clemente, CA, at 3:30 AM enroute to Idaho Falls, ID. The 2015 Nissan Sentra SV has issues with stalling during driving, not accelerating over a certain MPR but RPM continues to get higher, and the car seeming to jerk when in drive. The transmission seems to slip. There are no indicators for check engine that has came on prior to these events taking place. Very unsafe driving on the highway when these situations occur. Has had multiple diagnostics done and nothing has been solved.

VEHICLE STRUGGLES TO GO OVER 40 MPH ON HILLS, WITH AC ON, OR FOR EXTENDED DRIVES. I HAVE A 2015 NISSAN SENTRA WITH A FAILED CVT TRANSMISSION. THE FAILURE HAPPENED SUDDENLY WHILE I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY, DOING AND AVERAGE SPED OF 65 MPH. DURING ACCELERATION, THE CAR WILL LURCH AND JUMP FORWARD LIKE IT'S LOSING POWER THAN GAINING IT BACK, IT SHIFTS EXTREMELY HARD AND WILL NOT GAIN SPEED UNLESS GOING DOWNHILL. WHILE PRESSING ON THE ACCELERATOR THE RPMS WILL BOUNCE BETWEEN 2K AND 6K RAPIDLY. I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE PAST 60MPH, ONCE I GOT OFF THE HIGHWAY THE CAR WOULDNT ACCELERATE PAST 20MPH AND THE RPM WOULD SHOOT TO 4,000!!! YET WHILE IT DOES THIS THE RPM NEEDLE SURGES BETWEEN 3000 TO 4500. VEHICLE HAS NO CODES AND DEALERSHIP CLAIMS THEY CAN'T REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM. MY CAR HAS LOST POWER ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AND YET IM JUST SUPPOSE TO BELIEVE THE CAR IS SAFE.I EVEN PUT IN A COMPLAINT WITH NISSAN CORPORATE AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO BECAUSE THE VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE ANY CODES.

I INFORMED THEM WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND ASKED IF THEY HAVE HEARD OF THIS ISSUE. THE MAN I SPOKE TO STATED HE HAD NEVER HEARD ABOUT IT BEFORE. I FOUND SOME INFORMATION ONLINE AND KNOW THIS IS AFFECTING A TON OF PEOPLE. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW FROM A NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND THEY SERVICE IT FOR EVERYTHING.
