Left side passenger lock mechanism just stopped working. Conducted research online and discovered it’s a rather huge issue with some Nissan vehicles. (I also saw a lawsuit currently in pending status related to this matter) The actuator needs to be repaired. All other locks in the vehicle work fine. Safety issue because door remains locked.
The contact owns a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that various electrical sensors alerted that there were objects nearby; however, there were no objects nearby. Due to the failure, the cruise control feature was inoperable. The contact also stated that the back over prevention camera screen intermittently displayed a blank image while the vehicle was shifted to reverse(R). The dealer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 102,000.
My driver side door will not lock or unlock. I have changed the battery in the key fob and I am still having the same problem. I believe the lock actuator is malfunctioning. I have taken it to a mechanic and they have confirmed, however, I have not taken it into the dealership. There were no warning labels or messages that appeared.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who informed the contact that the vehicle was functioning properly and was not able to diagnose a failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 75,000.

The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the stop lamp switch to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but continued to experience the failure. The contact took the vehicle back to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the stop lamp switch to be replaced a second time. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
Rear camera display screen is black - not working; problem ongoing since purchase of the vehicle
While driving the car on country road at speed around 40 miles per hour the car engine shutdown and the car slowly came to a stop. The battery light came on. I put the car in park and restarted the engine. A similar action occurred about a month ago while driving in a federal park and only moving about 20 mph.
Initial item includes power tailgate not operating properly and on at least one occassion it began to close while operator was loading groceries into the back of the vehicle - hitting operator on back. Another item is now occassional screen glitch when using back-up camera/display Lastly - power windows not operating well Vehicle has less than 36,000 miles.
OUR RENTER STATES THAT THE VEHICLE WAS GREAT UP UNTIL THE INCIDENT. STATES THAT THEY FILLED THE VEHICLE UP WITH GAS AROUND 4PM BEFORE PARKING IT JUST OUT IN FRONT OF WHERE THEY WERE STAYING. AT 1AM THEY WERE AWOKEN BY A DISTURBANCE OUTSIDE AND SOMEONE BANGING ON THEIR DOOR TELLING THEM THEY NEEDED TO COME OUTSIDE - WHEN HE ARRIVED HE NOTICED THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY ENGULFED IN FLAMES. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED BUT IT TOOK ALMOST AN HOUR, PER RENTER, TO PUT OUT THE FLAMES AS THE VEHICLE KEPT LEAKING GASOLINE. APPARENTLY THERE IS A WITNESS TO THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRE FROM A [XXX] ([XXX]) WHO HEARD THE VEHICLE'S HORN AND OBSERVED NO ONE IN THE VEHICLE AND THEN THERE WAS AN "EXPLOSION" AS IT CAUGHT FIRE (POTENTIAL ALARM?) THE FIRE REPORT CONFIRMS THAT OUR RENTAL VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE. THEY INDICATE THAT THE FIRE WAS "MECHANICAL MALFUNCTION" AND...
