2019 NISSAN PATHFINDER Forward Collision Avoidance Automatic Emergency Braking Problems

While entering the [XXX] going East (Home) exit [XXX] I needed to accelerate because of incoming vehicles to my left (Freeway) Instead of going fast my Nissan Pathfinder lose some power to accelarate and my speed reduce to 60 mph And I knew that something is very wrong there is a big trailer behind me, So at this point It felt like my SUV is not responding when I push the pedal, So I decided to pull over to the nearest exit which is [XXX] and end up pulling over near [XXX]. I turned off the engine hoping that the my SUV is going to be fine, But unfortunately the break is locked all of a sudden, To make the long story short it wont start, Here I am on the side of the freeway calling triple A , waited for almost 3 Hours, Thank God the triple A team...

TSB Recall Driver assist emergency brake came on and the truck came to a complete halt while driving. Check engine light came on Throttle Chamber Failed

When using the Intelligent Cruise Control the car gets false readings and brakes your car automatically which is dangerous while driving on the highway.

GOING DOWN A BUSY ROAD AT 45 MILES PER HOUR MY CAR STOPPED COMPLETELY AND STARTED BEEPING AND A WARNING LIGHT CAME UP ON THE DASHBOARD WITH A BIG EXCLAMATION POINT. THERE WAS NOTHING IN FRONT OF MY CAR NO OTHER CARS AND IT COMPLETELY STOPPED ON ITS OWN. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE I WAS SCARED TO DRIVE MY CAR AND THEY SAID THE SENSOR WAS FAULTY THEY REPLACED IT WITH THE SAME SENSOR AND SAID THAT NISSANS DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH DEPT. WAS SHUT DOWN THAT THEY ARE THE ONES TO FIGURE THE ISSUE OUT BUT THEY REPLACED WITH SAME SENSOR AND SAID IT COULD HAPPEN AGAIN WITHIN 6 MONTHS TO A YEAR FROM THE HEAT.

AEB (AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING) LIGHT RANDOMLY COMES WHICH MEANS AEB FUNCTION HAS BEEN TURNED OFF. THIS ACTION DISABLES INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL WHICH RELIES ON AEB TO AUTOMATICALLY SLOW THE CAR IF IT ENCOUNTERS A SLOWER VEHICLE AHEAD. ONLY HAD THE CAR A WEEK OR SO, BOUGHT USED WITH 40,000 MILES ON IT FROM ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL. READING THE WEB INDICATES THIS COULD BE AN ISSUE IF YOU ARE DRIVING WITH CRUISE CONTROL ENABLED AND THEN CRUISE CONTROL IS RANDOMLY TURNED OFF DUE TO FAULTY (BOSCH?) RADAR SENSOR. VEHICLES WITH AEB SHOULD HAVE A MEANS TO TURN AEB OFF WITHOUT DISABLING FEATURES SUCH AS CRUISE CONTROL. CRUISE CONTROL FEATURE IS PRETTY STANDARD AND HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS. SHOULD NOT DISABLE IT SIMPLY DUE TO NEW GOVERNMENTAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.
