Cvtc transmission stalls almost got my kids and my pregnant daughter hit I bought the car only 2 months ago
I started my vehicle, as usual, and when driving at a very slow speed (neighborhood speed limits) I approached a very busy intersection and the car just stopped. Not only did it stop, it would not steer and a bunch of warning lights came on the dashboard. Tav I believe, oil, check engine light. Even with the key in the acc mode, the power steering was not functioning. Everything just stopped functioning. I know this vehicle was recalled for the same exact thing back in 2008, but obviously it wasn't permanently fixed. Recall #07v-527. If I would have been in the middle of an intersection and this happened I could have been killed.
UNKNOWN: While driving the car will stall. After restarting it, the car will then be stuck in fifth (highest) gear. The SES (Service engine soon) light comes on. The first time this happened, after the next trip, the SES light went out. Then the same thing happened. This is a danger because if this happens in heavy traffic, it could lead to a collision.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS, THE CLUTCH CEASED DEPRESSED TO THE FLOOR. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO SHIFT GEARS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLUTCH AND THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, A YEAR AND A HALF LATER THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE 150,000.
DISCOVERED ANTIFREEZE TO BE MILKY WHITE IN THE RESERVOIR AND RADIATOR IT'S SELF. WILL NEED TO REPLACE RADIATOR AND FLUSH TRANSMISSION FLUID.
VEHICLE WAS BEING DROVE DOWN MAJOR HIGHWAY WHEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN IT LOSES ALL POWER, GET OFF HIGHWAY ON EDGE PUT IT IN PARK, TURN KEY COMPLETELY OFF AND TRY TO RESTART CAR FAILS TO START CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND STAYS. GET CODE PULLED SHOWS CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR A. GET THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REPLACED AND CODE CLEARED. HEAD HOME WITH CAR, DOES SAME EXACT THING THAT HAPPENED WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY IN TOWN. HAVE HAD EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKED AT AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT TO DO TO FIX THE PROBLEM. CAR ACTS AS IF IT'S HARD TO START EVER SINCE THIS HAPPENED. DEFINITELY WON'T BE TAKING IT OUT OF TOWN UNTIL SOMETHING IS DONE. CAR WILL SIT AND CRANK AND CRANK THEN EVENTUALLY DECIDES TO START. STARTER ISN'T ISSUE IT WAS PREVIOUSLY REPLACED NOT EVEN 2 MONTHS AGO DUE TO IT GOING OUT.

WAS LEAVING STORE AND WHEN PULLED OUT ONTO ROAD, I WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH! LEFT THE SCENE AND THEN WAS TAKEN BY PRIVATE VEHICLE TO LOCAL EMERGENCY ROOM AND FROM THERE, AIRLIFTED WITH BRAIN INJURY! WAS ALMOST ACROSS THE ROAD AND VEHICLE STALLED AND WOULDN'T ACCELERATE AND STALLED AND CAUSED A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT. THE VEHICLE THAT HIT ME GOT ME IN PASSENGER REAR AS HE WAS TRAVELING UP HIGHWAY AND THREW ME AND WENT AIR BORNE AND KNOCKED A TELEPHONE POLE IN HALF AND DONE DAMAGE TO FRONT AS WELL. AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEFLATE AT ALL. I AM MAKING ATTEMPT TO MAKE NISSAN AWARE AND OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE RIGHT. MY 2006 NISSAN ALTIMA HAS STARTED TO HAVE A TRANSMISSION SLIP. IT JERKS VERY HARD WHEN ACCELERATING. VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE.
"TAKATA RECALL" AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: WHILE DRIVING, IT SHUTTERS WHEN SHIFTING FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR (APROX 20 MPH). SOUNDS AND FEELS AWFUL! PARKED IT, AND HAVEN'T DRIVEN IT SINCE.
CRANKSHAFT SENSOR IS BAD CAUSING THE CAR TO STALL AT ANY TIME - EVEN AT HIGH SPEEDS. IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING SLOWLY THROUGH A NEIGHBORHOOD AS WELL AS ON AN INTERSTATE CAUSING THE CAR TO BE DIFFICULT TO STEER TO GET OFF THE ROAD. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS! PURCHASED THIS CAR USED FROM A DEALERSHIP 3 WEEKS AGO. WITHIN 1 WEEK THE CAR STALLED WHILE DRIVING. STARTED IT BACK UP WITH NO PROBLEMS. TOOK CAR ON A 750 MI. ROAD TRIP AND WHILE DRIVING 75MPH ON CRUISE CONTROL THE CAR BUCKED. AFTER REACHING OUR DESTINATION AND TURNING THE CAR OFF WE HAD TROUBLE RESTARTING IT. WHEN IT FINALLY STARTED THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT CAME ON. TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC AND CODES CAME UP FOR THE CAM AND CRANK SHAFT SENSORS. REPLACED THESE SENSORS AND CLEARED CODES. DROVE CAR AWAY AND WITHIN 5MILES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN AND AGAIN EXCESSIVE CRANKING WHEN TRYING TO START THE CAR. BROUGHT IT BACK TO MECHANIC AND THE BRAND NEW CAM SENSOR THAT WAS REPLACED LESS THAN 24HRS BEFORE TESTED OUT BAD. REPLACED SENSOR AGAIN AND CLEARED CODE AND CODE CAME UP FOR HIGH SPEED INPUT SENSOR ALONG...
THIS VEHICLE HAS GIVEN ME A LOT OF PROBLEMS FROM STEERING TO BRAKES TOOK THE BOOTS TRANSMISSION. IT WAS HARD SHIFTING GOING THROUGH AN INTERSECTION ALL THE SUDDEN IT POPPED AND THE TRANSMISSION GAVE OUT
WHEN DRIVING THE CAR THE GEAR GETS STUCK AND YOU HAVE TO ALLOW IT TIME TO CATCH UP WITH THE ACCELERATOR SO YOU CAN TAKE OFF IF YOUR SITTING AT A LIGHT OR TRYING TO ACCELERATE SPEED WHEN DRIVING. IT ALSO JERKS AT TIMES WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY.
CONSUMING OR BURNING A LOT OF OIL.HAD TO ADD ABOUT A QUART OF OIL EVERY 300 MILES. IT TAKES LONGER TO SHIFT AND DOES NOT HAVE POWER GOING UPHILL. HARD 1-2 SHIFT.
I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR USED. FELT VIBRATION IN ENGINE WAS TOLD IT WAS A MOTOR MOUNT. CHECKED ON LINE BECAUSE CAR SHIFTING HARD 3 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE TO FIND OUT IT HAS TRANSMISSION ISSUES THAT CAUSE MOTOR MOUNT WEAR AND TEAR AND REPLACEMENT AND MAY NEED TRANSMISSION REPLACED. NISSAN NEEDS TO FIX THIS ISSUE
VEHICLE IS VIOLENTLY SHIFTING INTO SECOND GEAR. TRANSMISSION IS STARTING TO FAIL. VEHICLE HAS ONLY 91,000 MILES.
I WAS DRIVING ON CRUISE CONTROL AT 70 MPH. THE CAR BUCKED, BUT KEPT GOING. I EXITED THE HIGHWAY A FEW MILES LATER AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. WITH CRUISE CONTROL NOW OFF, I ATTEMPTED TO PROCEED AS NORMAL, AND THE CAR LAGGED IN POWER. I ALMOST GOT BROAD SIDED AS THE CAR DIDN'T GO AS NORMAL. I PULLED OUT WITH A RIGHT ON RED. THE CAR WAS STUCK IN 5TH GEAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEAD GASKET FAILED AND THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. APPROXIMATELY SEVEN MONTHS LATER, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE SERVICED. THE MECHANIC OBSERVED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS LEAKING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 30,000.

ON CRUISE CONTROL, TRAVELING IN A 50 MPH GOING 45 SUDDENLY THE TRANSMISSON WENT INTO A HIGH PITCH THE ENGINE WENT TO NEARLY 6000 RPM, REVERSED THE CRUISE AND IT RESTORED, THE GEARS ON THE AUTO TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN MESSED UP EVER SINCE.
WHILE STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT MY CAR ENGINE SHUT OFF. AFTER A WHILE IT STARTED AGAIN, BUT THE TRANSMISSION WOULDN'T SHIFT TO LOWER GEARS AND JERKED HARD IN REVERSE, AND SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ENTERING HIGHWAY I WENT TO SHIFT MY 06 ALTIMA 5 SPEED INTO 5TH GEAR WHEN I PRESSED THE CLUTCH PEDAL THERE WAS NO PRESSURE AND TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT GO INTO 5TH GEAR. I LET UP ON THE PEDAL AND IN A FEW SECONDS THE PEDAL HAD PRESSURE AGAIN. ENTER HIGHWAY AND DROVE FOR ABOUT 25 MILES AND EXITED HIGHWAY. THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN NO PRESSURE IN THE PEDAL THEN PRESSURE. I WAS ABLE TO RETURN HOME BUT THE PROBLEM IS STILL HAPPENING. I HAVE READ SOME FORUMS ON THIS ISSUE AND IT SEAMS THAT MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. SOME PEOPLE SAY THEY REPLACED THE MASTER CYLINDER AND SLAVE CYLINDER AND THIS DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. OTHER PEOPLE RECOMMEND USING A DOT 5 BRAKE FLUID WITH A HIGHER BOILING POINT.NOT SURE WHAT DIRECTION TO HEAD IN. AS A LIFE LONG MECHANIC...

THEN PLACED BACK IN DRIVE AND CONTINUED 50 MILES WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEM THAT DAY. ON 12/15 WHILE ON INTERSTATE THE ENGINE STOPPED AGAIN WITH MUCH MORE DANGER AS TRAFFIC WAS COMING UP ON OUR REAR. MANAGED TO GET INTO BREAKDOWN LANE AND WHILE GOING 15/20 MPH PLACED THE TRANSMISSION INTO NEUTRAL AND ENGINE RESTARTED AND PROCEEDED 50 MILES TO HOME. BROUGHT INTO NISSAN DEALER ON 12/18 AND THEY CLAIMED THEY CHECKED IT OUT AND COULD FIND NO PROBLEMS. NISSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE OPENED A CASE #[XXX] BUT HAS NOT RETURNED CALLS AFTER THE NISSAN DEALER DIAGNOSTICS. THE CAR IS A DANGER TO OURSELVES AND OTHERS BUT IT IS OUR ONLY VEHICLE. I OWN A 2006 NISSAN ALTIMA SER. I HAVE HAD THE MOTOR REPLACED AND THE ENTIRE CLUTCH KIT AND SLAVE CYLINDER REPLACED. AFTER HAVING THE CLUTCH PARTS REPLACED THE PEDAL STUCK TO THE FLOOR A SMALL HANDFUL OF TIMES. NOW, IT IS NEARLY A DAILY OCCURRENCE AND IT IS CONSISTENTLY LASTING LONGER AND LONGER EACH TIME. IT STILL ALLOWS FOR SPORADIC SHIFTING IN NON SPECIFIC GEARS WHILE THE PEDAL IS ON THE FLOOR. I CAN PICK UP THE PEDAL WITH MY FOOT AND PUT IT BACK IN PLACE BUT WHEN IT APPLY ANY PRESSURE IT FALLS BACK TO THE FLOOR AND STAYS THERE UNTIL I PICK IT BACK UP WITH MY FOOT. THIS ISSUE HAS NEARLY CAUSED TO BE IN SEVERAL ACCIDENTS, ALL OF WHICH I NARROWLY AVOIDED BY QUICKLY MANEUVERING MY VEHICLE OFF THE ROAD. *TR
MY ALTIMA'S TRANSMISSION BEGAN SLIPPING OUT OF GEAR WHILE TAKING MY CHILDREN TO SCHOOL. IT STARTED SLIPPING BAD ENOUGH WHERE I FELT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE AND NEEDED TO BE TOWED. AS I PULLED OFF A MAIN ROAD ONTO A SIDE STREET, THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPED OUT OF GEAR WHILE TURNING AND A VEHICLE NEARLY STRUCK ME ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. LUCKILY THE TRANSMISSION WENT INTO GEAR AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND SO I COULD ESCAPE THE ACCIDENT. AFTER DOING RESEARCH THIS IS APPARENTLY A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE V6 ALTIMA TRANSMISSION.
CAR IS GETTING STUCK IN 5TH GEAR WHICH CAUSES STALL OUTS WHILE DRIVING AND NO ACCELERATION-ONLY 102,000 MILES-HESITATES, JERKS AND STALLS OUT RANDOMLY. *TR
AFTER COMPLETING ACCELERATION AFTER A PERIOD OF SITTING IN TRAFFIC, THE CLUTCH PEDAL FELL TO THE FLOOR WITHOUT THE AID OF THE DRIVER. THE CLUTCH PEDAL LOST ALL RESISTANCE AND THE DRIVER WAS UNABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE OUT OF GEAR AND INTO NEUTRAL OR ANOTHER GEAR. DRIVER HAD TO MANEUVER THE VEHICLE OFF OF THE FREEWAY AND ONTO THE SHOULDER AND COAST FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED YARDS WITH THE VEHICLE STUCK IN GEAR FOR THE CLUTCH PEDAL TO REGAIN PRESSURE SO THAT THE VEHICLE COULD BE PLACED INTO NEUTRAL. SINCE THE INITIAL INCIDENT, WHICH OCCURRED ONLY WEEKS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED FROM A NISSAN DEALER, THE SUNKEN CLUTCH PEDAL HAS BECOME A REGULAR OCCURRENCE, NEARLY DAILY. *TR
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WITHIN A YEAR AND A HALF THAT MY CLUTCH SYSTEM HAS WENT COMPLETELY OUT WHILE DRIVING. WHILE DRIVING I COULD NOT GET THE CLUTCH PEDAL TO ENGAGE THE CLUTCH. IT WAS BECOMING INCREASINGLY MORE DIFFICULT TO GET THE CLUTCH TO SHIFT INTO GEAR EVEN WITH THE PEDAL PUSHED ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. THE STANDARD DOT 3 FLUID THAT IS USED WAS BECOMING TO HOT AND BREAKING DOWN ITS COMPRESSIBILITY NOT ALLOWING THE CLUTCH TO SHIFT. TRAVELING AT 15 MILES PER HOUR AND STARTED TO STOP AT STOP SIGN, VEHICLE WENT DEAD AND I COULD NO STOP IN TIME AND WENT THROUGH THE STOP SIGN. HARD TO STEER ALSO. I AM GETTING CONCERNED BECAUSE THIS IS A HAZARD AS I HAVE BEEN ASKED BY THE LOCAL CITY POLICE FOR ME TO PICK UP MY SPEED A LITTLE AS I AM RESTRAINING THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC BY DRIVING AT OR BELOW WHAT I BELIEVE IS THE SPEED LIMIT. ALSO, I AM REALLY CONCERNED SINCE THE FACTORY TELLS YOU TO USE A CERTAIN SIZE OF TIRE, WITH ME USING THEIR RECOMMENDATION, THIS WILL CAUSE THE WHEELS TO SPIN FASTER THAN WHAT I AM ACTUALLY REALLY GOING, THUS SAYING I AM TRAVELING FARTHER (MILEAGE) THAN WHAT I TRULY AM. THIS, I BELIEVE IS EFFECTING MY GAS MILEAGE AS MY TIRES ARE HAVING TO SPIN FASTER THAN WHAT IS NEEDED AND THUS CAUSING ME TO USE MORE FUEL. SEVERAL 2005 AND 2006 NISSAN ALTIMAS SE-RS (INCLUDING MINE) HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THE CLUTCH PEDAL GETTING STUCK ON THE FLOOR UNABLE TO COME BACK UP AND NOT BEING ABLE TO CHANGE GEARS. DEALERSHIPS ACCROSS THE COUNTRY HAVE DENY THE ISSUE AND DENY REPAIRS. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND AN ACCIDENT CAN HAPPEND DUE TO THIS. TO ME, IS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE I PURCHASE THE CAR AT 37,000 MILES AND IT KEEPS HAPPENING NOW AT 86,000 MILES...THIS IS HAPPENING TO SEVERAL OTHERS AS WELL AND A WEBSITE HAS BEEN CREATED WITH EVERYONE'S CONCERNS. FOR NO APPARENT REASON THE CLUTCH PEDAL WILL LOSE ALL RESISTANCE AND LAY ON THE FLOOR LEAVING THE VEHICLE INOPERABLE AND STRANDED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THIS ISSUE HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES, AS EARLY AS 44K MILES AND AS RECENT AS LAST THURSDAY, MARCH 24, 2011 WITH 68K MILES. PUMPING THE CLUTCH PEDAL FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME DID RESTORE ENOUGH HYDRAULIC PRESSURE TO OPERATE THE CLUTCH AND WITHIN 2 MILES OF "IN TOWN" DRIVING THE CLUTCH PROBLEM COMPLETELY RESOLVED AS IF IT NEVER HAPPENED. THERE ARE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS OF THIS ISSUE ON THE FORUMS. FORT PIERCE NISSAN OFFICIAL ANSWER WAS " NOTHING". THEY WOULDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE IT. I'M SURE WITH ALL THE COMPLAINTS FROM ALTIMA SE-R OWNERS NISSAN IS FULLY AWARE OF THE ISSUE, YET THEY WON'T STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND MAKE IT RIGHT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. I PURCHASED MY NISSAN ALTIMA SE-R IN JUNE OF 2007. DURING THAT SUMMER THE CLUTCH WOULD STICK ON FEW OCCASIONS AND I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO CHANGE GEARS. ON ONE OCCASION I HAD TO PULL OFF THE FREEWAY AND PUMP THE CLUTCH PETAL MULTIPLE TIMES UNTIL IT BECAME FREE AND I WAS ABLE TO CHANGE GEARS SUCCESSFULLY. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP TO WHICH THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN WHEN THE PROBLEM WAS ACTUALLY OCCURRING, WHICH WAS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE SINCE IT WAS SPORADIC. I HAVE NOTICED THAT DURING WINTER ON OCCASION THE CLUTCH AND BRAKES WOULD NEED TO BE PUMPED BEFORE DRIVING OTHERWISE THE CLUTCH WOULD STICK AND THE BRAKES JUST WOULDN'T WORK. THIS MORNING I GOT IN MY NISSAN WHICH HAD BEEN PARKING IN THE GARAGE ALL NIGHT, AND THE CLUTCH PETAL WAS SUNK TO THE FLOOR. I WAS ABLE TO TURN THE CAR...
2006 CERTIFIED USED NISSAN ALTIMA WILL NOT COME IN AND OUT OF "PARK", OR INTO "REVERSE" WHILE TRYING TO GO INTO "PARK". SHIFTER AND RELATED PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH NO SUCCESS IN SEPTEMBER 2010. PROBLEM HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE FEBRUARY 2009. CAR HAS BEEN TO DEALERS MULTIPLE TIMES TO DIAGNOSE PROBLEM WITH NO SUCCESS. SHIFTER AND ELECTRONIC MODULE REPLACED LATER SEPTEMBER 2010. PROBLEM CAME BACK WITHIN 48 HOURS OF GETTING CAR FROM DEALERSHIP. OWNED CAR FOR ONLY 8 MONTHS BEFORE PROBLEM AROSE. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT COULD NOT SHIFT THE VEHICLE INTO REVERSE, PARK, OR NEUTRAL. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS A SILVER SWITCH NEAR THE GEAR SHIFTER THAT COULD BE USED TO MANUALLY CHANGE GEARS. LATER, THE VEHICLE BECAME NON-RESPONSIVE WHEN THE MANUAL GEAR SHIFTER SWITCH WAS USED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE LESS THAN 18,000.
HAD TO REPLACE ENGINE ON NISSAN ALTIMA 06 WITH ONLY 33,000 MI DEALER WOULD NOT GIVE THE REASON WHY. FRONT STRUTS NEEDS REPLACING AFTER 39,000. ALSO REPLACE TRANSMISSION SEAL@39,000MI. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GEAR SHIFT BOX WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND THE LEVER REMAINS STUCK WHEN SHIFTING. THE DEALER STATED THAT SOMETHING WAS SPILLED IN THE GEAR BOX. THEY PULLED THE GEAR BOX APART AND FOUND NO SPILL. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THAT THE DEALER DID NOT REASSEMBLE THE VEHICLE CORRECTLY. THE DEALER IS CHARGING $800-900 TO REPAIR THE GEAR SHIFT. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED TO FIND ANOTHER DEALER TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE NISSAN MANUFACTURER IS NOT ASSISTING. THE VEHICLE IS UNDER WARRANTY, BUT IS NOT BEING REPAIRED AS SUCH. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,000.
2006 NISSAN ALTIMA CUSTOMER RECEIVED RECALL LETTER AND HAS BEEN UNABLE TO GET CAR FIX AND CAN'T LET THE CAR SIT AND PAY CAR NOTE AND INSURANCE**CC THE CONSUMER STATED A NEW ENGINE WAS INSTALLED IN THE VEHICLE DUE TO A RECALL. THREE WEEKS LATER, THE VEHICLE WENT INTO LIMP MODE AND THE SPEED DECREASED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND THE CONSUMER WAS LATER INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION. THE CONSUMER RETURNED THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND UPON INSPECTION THEY STATED THE WIRING HARNESS WAS UNPLUGGED. *JB
