The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but no diagnostic trouble codes were retrieved; however, the contact was informed that the failure was related to the knock sensors. The contact related the failure to TSB: L-SB-0122-17, which the contact stated was to be performed after the completion of NHTSA Campaign Number: 10V309000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) to prevent the engine hesitation while driving. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 157,000.
