I am filing this complaint for a serious drivability and safety issue with my 2020 Range Rover Evoque (VIN: [XXX] ). For over two years, this vehicle has exhibited a violent jerking motion when accelerating from a stop. It happens intermittently but is becoming progressively worse. Despite multiple dealership visits, warranty repairs, and part replacements (including the driveshaft and oil separator). Most recently, on [XXX], my wife was nearly involved in a rear-end collision when the vehicle lurched forward at a green light despite gentle pressure on the accelerator. On [XXX], I experienced the same event, though luckily there was no car in front. These events are frightening and dangerous. We no longer feel safe driving this vehicle. I have attached a detailed document (submitted to Land Rover) summarizing our full service history, dealership findings, and recent near-accident experiences. I believe this is a systemic drivability defect that warrants NHTSA review and investigation. Please contact me if additional documentation or testimony is needed.
