My gauge cluster is having a problem and I dont know why my jeep is covered under the recall when its the same part in every other jeep that is having the same problem? I would really like to know how used can pick one Jeep model and not the others? When all the same parts are in the jeeps
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, several unknown warning lights flashed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions, where various repairs were performed; however, the failure returned after each repair. The contact then stated that the entire instrument panel had gone blank; as a result, the speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer mileage, and other various features were unavailable. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the instrument panel needed to be replaced. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle remained with the dealer unrepaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
Instrument cluster panel - while driving, my cluster panel occasionally glitches before returning to normal. Ultimately, when I was on the highway, it all went black. Nothing is visible anymore. I can’t tell if I need gas, if my tires are low, if an oil change is due, or if there are any warnings I should be aware of. Essentially, all the information I require is missing. This occurred during the 3rd year I owned the car, but it only happened a handful of times. The belt-driven starter generator failed after just 3 years of having the brand new car. Fortunately, it was included in the powertrain warranty, so it was repaired. However, I recall experiencing the same problem, and everything in my car was malfunctioning, including the radio. At that moment, I believed that was the source of the issue because it hadn't happened for quite some time. After...
Concern: Suspension, steering, and electrical system malfunction Description of the Problem: While driving at highway speeds (approximately 75 mph), the vehicle experiences a wiggling or unstable sensation in the suspension, making the car feel unsafe. At the same time, the steering wheel becomes stiff and difficult to turn. Additionally, a warning message appears stating “Service Shifter.” When this occurs, the electrical system freezes, affecting vehicle functions. This electrical malfunction lasts for 1 to 2 days, during which systems do not respond properly before eventually resetting on their own. Safety Concern: The suspension instability, loss of steering responsiveness, and electrical failure at high speeds present a serious safety risk to the driver and others on the road. Request: Requesting a full inspection of the suspension, steering system, shifter system, and electrical components, including any sensors or modules that may be causing these failures.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the instrument cluster display malfunctioned and displayed a blank or black screen. During the failure, the digital speedometer, fuel gauge, and odometer mileage were unavailable. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not contacted. The contact was informed of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the VIN was not included. The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 38,000.
Cluster went dark. No way of seeing gauges moving, no speed info, nothing. Jeep runs but dash is dark.
Main cluster went out cannot see gas or mileage noting important will display
The instrument cluster has stop functioning and you can't see milage, gas or any of the warning lights within the cluster panel. I was not in an accident but wanted to report the problem of the cluster since my jeep was not included in the recall. I have an estimate of 1,600. for a repair from jeep mechanic.I feel that it should have been included in the recall.
Wires going to the trailer hitch lights plug was too close to the muffler melting the insulation and shorting to ground for the left trailer turning light.
The internal cluster went out all of a sudden. Stenallis has no part for us to repair it with. We have been without the car and no loaner for almost 4 months. There is a recall on this part on this model in this year. However, Stenallis won't recall my particular car which is currently affected. The recall should expand because it is on more models than they admit.
My 2019 Jeep Wrangler has a defective instrument cluster panel. The entire cluster is completely non-functional — I cannot see the speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights, or odometer at all. This makes it impossible to monitor the vehicle’s speed, fuel level, or safety warnings while driving, creating a very serious safety hazard. I understand Jeep has already issued recall 24V-652 (Chrysler 30B) for defective cluster panels for 2019 and other Wrangler model years, but my VIN is not included even though I am experiencing the same issue. I am requesting that this defect be investigated and my vehicle added to the recall.
Alternator stopped working no warning no lights nothing just stopped.
I drove over a rough patch/bump in the road. A ton of warning messages and failure lights activated on the dash. In addition to the check engine light, there were warnings for electronic stability protection, sway bar disconnect, ABS failure, power steering failure, shift lever malfunction. In addition to these malfunctions a failures, the windshield wipers turned on un-commanded and the radiator fan went into the highest possible speed, the digital engine temperature gauge failed, and both the digital and analog speedometers failed. This happened on a arterial road, losing power steering and braking at ~30mph unexpectedly was a shock, but manageable. At highway speeds it likely would have led to an accident or collision. Unfortunately, I don't have any documentation of the failure lights and systems failing, but it had happened several times prior to this occurrence, albeit only with dash warning lights, no actual system failures. After the...
The instrument panel cluster that shows the speed, odometer, and fuel levels has been sporadically 'going out' while driving. On Friday 7/18, it went out completely and did not come back on. This affects safety of driving in that I have no idea how fast I'm driving or fuel levels. I have to rely on iphone capabilities for speed, which is not as accurate. The problem has been inspected by a mechanic and he indicated that the Instrument Panel Cluster would need to be replaced at a cost of close to $2,000. He indicated that there was a recall on 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler models involving a safety issue with the IPC and that it may experience a short circuit and fail, potentially causing the display to go blank and hindering the driver's ability to see critical information like speed and warning lights. Recall# 24V652000 indicated this failure could increase the...
I was driving my 2019 Jeep Wrangler to work and my Jeep started throwing all the things on the dash, Start/Stop lost communication, ABS System lost communication, plus several other issues and I went into limp mode. I had it towed to the dealership to find out what was wrong and they told me it was the ABS Module. That was on Wednesday June 11th, 2025. It was 3 weeks before they got the part. When they went to program the ABS Module, it froze up and they had to order another one that took a week to get in. They replaced it again and told me, it was fixed. I picked it up on Wednesday, July 8th, around 5:00 pm and on that Friday, July 11th, at noon my check engine light came on again. I’m taking it in tomorrow to see what it is this time. So far...
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the message "Service Shifter" was displayed and several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that upon turning off and restarting the vehicle, only the check engine warning light remained illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated while driving on a back road at 25 MPH, the windshield wipers engaged independently, and the power steering became inoperable. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact immediately pulled over, and the vehicle was towed to a local independent mechanic, where the failure could not be duplicated. The local dealer was contacted but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was advised that the VIN was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 66,201.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the vehicle was restarted. The contact continued to drive, but the power steering became inoperable. The contact stated that the vehicle became extremely hot, and the cells popped and damaged the battery. The contact stated that the check engine, power steering, and battery warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 49,700.
I have had the recall completed but now my car to give a “service transmission “ message and that there is a problem with my clutch getting hot. There is no burning smells. are no issues such as rough gear changes or engine issues. It states the clutch is overheating and I’ve barely left the driveway. And this is after sitting still overnight Didn’t the recall fix this issue? It’s terrifying as it comes up stating that the transmission needs to be service then all information as to what gear you are in disappears while you are driving. This isn’t a recall fix it’s a nightmare. It wasn’t having a problem before but now it warning messages act like it’s going to burn up. There is NO burning smells no rough gear changes. Afraid to drive it.
While driving I received random warnings on the dashboard: airbag failure, power steering failure, shift control failure, ABS failure. After the flashing of all those warning, I lost the power steering and the ability to shift from Drive to Neutral. My inability to steer the car and loss of speed put my passengers and myself at risk and the safety of cars driving on the opposite lane at risk as I was able only to make very wide turns. I took the car to the dealer and after about two weeks the mechanic narrowed down the problem to a failure of the ABS module and told me that that part is on backorder nation wide and may take over 3 months to come. I was advised to not drive the car or to drive at my own risk.
Shortly after starting the vehicle and entering roadway, the power steering failed and shortly following an error came on regarding the ABS system. I was able to pull the vehicle over safely, restart and the issue seemed resolved in that use. Next day, shortly after starting vehicle, same errors occurred, but self corrected. The day after that, shortly after starting the vehicle, all systems on the front panel cycled through several error codes, when attempting to shut the vehicle off to restart it, the vehicle would not shut off. Using the standard transmission, I was able to create a stall situation, but the vehicle's electrical would not shut off. After removing the key fab, the electrical system kept activating power systems, even turning on the windshield wipers when the control was in the off position. After 20 minutes and several attempts I was finally able to get the system to...
Instrument Panel Cluster Failure: My instrument cluster failure has been an unrepairable issue for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara which I purchased from Marysville Jeep in Marysville, Washington back in 2021 or 2022. It's been well over at least a year that I have been forced to drive this vehicle where I am unable to know my fuel level, mileage, or speed. I have had my Jeep at the West Hills Autoplex, Chrysler/Jeep Dealership, Auto Center Way, Bremerton, Washington, TWICE for this very same instrument panel cluster failure, and to date, it remains UNREPAIRED. My vehicle is at the same dealership NOW as we speak and has been there since 23 April 2025. I have not had the use of my Jeep for the duration of this time. The time before that, they had my Jeep for about 2 weeks and did not repair the instrument cluster. My associate at...
LIKE EVERYONE ELSES JEEP WHILE DRIVING, ALL THE WARNING SIGNALS, BELLS, WHISTLES START GOING OFF. LOSE POWER STEERING, LOSE POWER, PUT JEEP IN PARK, CANNOT GET IT TO GO BACK IN DRIVE. SOEMTIMES WILL NOT START JUST LOOK IT UP ON TICTOK
bad ABS module part is not being produced in re-enegineering since 2023 jeep has all warning lights on will go into limp mode speedometer stops working braking distance is increased will not shift into gear no time line on remedy or help from jeep
ON MAY 10 2025 THE INSTUMENT PANEL STOPPED WORKING, NONE OF THE GAGES WORK. NOT ABLE TO DETECT SPEED, GAS, TURN SIGNALS ETC. TOOK IT TO AN INDEPENDENT SERVICE CENTER, WAS TOLD THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER LOST COMMUNICATION WITH THE CARS COMPUTER. HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED BY THE DEALER. NO WARNING, EVERYTHING ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER JUST SHUT OFF.
Recall 30B regarding the instrument panel cluster is affecting my jeep it only has 30k miles and is defective. Diagnosed 5/13/25 by Mitchell Auto Group service department in Avon, CT
My steering wheel will lock up while driving, my windshield wipers start going off, spedometer goes to zero and won't work, the gas light goes to completely empty and won't move, when I push on the gas it won't go, my engine light goes off and starts saying service module and lists several different things. When I put it in park it won't shift into gear so I can drive it. I have to turn it off and back on several times until it will finally let it go into gear. I have tried to get it fixed and they said the ABC module needs to be replaced but it's been on National back order for over a year and can't find one available. I'm trying to find even a refurbished one and have not been able to.
Dash panel started flashing all gauges went to zero. All warning lamps lit ABS failure, power steering stopped, service antilock breaks, service electronic stability control, auto park disabled and service shift warnings started popping up. I was going 70 mph on the highway when the power steering went out. Luckily I didn’t hit anyone.
Approximately 4to6 months after I bought my jeep following issues: electric bolt comes on. At a red light engine shuts off. Have to stop in middle of traffic to restart and pra it restarts. Sometimes this takes 3 or 4 tries. Sometimes many times when I try to start my car will not start. Many times I am unable to shift the jeep and takes 40 min to get the throttle into gear. Wheel locks. Windshield wipers come on at random times. This is a severe safety hazard. I did buy an extended warranty and they tell me it is not covered. I’ve followed up for any recalls and they tell me no recalls. I had some minor recall done a few months ago and now my jeep is worse than before. The stress of this is immense. Very very unsafe and I do not have the money to fix...
Lost communication on ABS, traction control , 4wd service, vehicle put itself in auto park, steering wheel locked up and wasn't able to turn the steering wheel, dashboard lights flickering, try turning on vehicle but wasn't responding until a 3 minutes later , check engine light is still on but doesn't have any store messages on dashboard, I have a video of it.
This Jeep has the exact issues addressed in recall 24V-652 but this Jeeps V.I.N was not included. We have no dash display. Dealership said we needed to request that it be added before they will repair.
Vehicle is inoperable. Dealer says it is a bad ABS module. 80+ codes were thrown, dashboard lights flickering on and off. Right brakes locked up on mechanic test drive. All ABS functionality failed. The part is not being manufactured at this time. I have been told that there is no date when to expect the part's availability. This seems to be a common issue that should be recalled.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while his daughter was driving 55 MPH, she became aware that the instrument panel was dark. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the instrument cluster had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). The approximate failure mileage was 56,000.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that upon picking up the vehicle from the dealer after a battery replacement, the instrument panel was blank. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer to be diagnosed and the contact was informed that the instrument panel was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) as a possible cause for the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 115,000.
Body: Paint around door hinges is bubbling. Vehicle was purchased new in 2019, vehicle is not near salt water or driven in, harsh offroad conditions. Vehicle has been garaged daily since purchase and has 44,000 miles on it. Electrical: Instrument cluster reboots and blanks out and speedometer stops working while driving. This vehicle was not included in previous recall #FCA 30B, but the symptoms are identical to that recall. Vehicle has been taken to the dealer who has offered no insight as to what the problem may be. Dealer was shown a video of the problem happening while driving. The attached photo is taken from a video of the cluster while driving. Both the main battery and the Auxiliary battery were replaced to see if that was an issue, it was not.
There is an active recall that was issued back in October 2024 for jeep wranglers 2018-2024 with the IPC (instrument panel cluster) going completely black. My jeep currently has this issue, I cannot see my fuel level, speed, odometer, oil and engine temps or any other vital information when driving. When I search my VIN number my vehicle shows I do not have any recalls even though the jeep has the exact problem shown in the recall.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument panel failed to display pertinent vehicle information. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with instrument panel internal circuitry. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System); but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 58,000.
My central instrument gage cluster has gone black, not being able to see important safety information and car notices. I can't see car info such as milage , fuel, safety warnings, tire information etc etc.
ABS module went out in July of 2024, after being replaced in February 2024. Jeep does not have any of the parts available, the same part was recalled for the Grand Cherokee and Ram 1500. My jeep has been unable to drive since the part malfunctioned.
My IPC keeps flashing and going blank or black screen. I’m unable to see the information about my vehicle including fuel levels. I have not taken my car to a dealer yet since I am waiting for the new part but I saw that there was a for notifying that jeep wranglers from 2018-2020 had this specific issue yet my vin has no recalls.
Vehicle has electrical issues that cause system malfunctions including loss of ABS, power steering, speed control, and speedometer. Multiple attempts by jeep dealership are unable to diagnose issues.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH, the instrument panel went dark and became inoperable. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was 68,000.
The car is having electrical issues that the dealer service is unable to diagnose. They have since ordered a part but they are not certain that this will fix the problem. The car has been in service 3 times. Twice for an uncontrollable shaking that comes from no where, this has fixed the problem temporarily, however it continues. If I hit highway speeds the car shakes making it difficult to drive. The electrical issue for lack of a better word causes the car to stop as there is no acceleration at this point, making it difficult and extremely dangerous to drive. I drive an hour and half to work with fear. I don't want to cause an accident nor do I want anyone else getting hurt. The car has had issues since we first bought it. But thought ok, they are trying to fix the issues so have said nothing...
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the instrument panel became inoperable. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
The information center and warning went dead on the instrument cluster.
The dashboard panel does not light up. It just went out one day and never came back on. I cannot see my mileage, my fuel level or warning lights. I took it to dealership and they did a software update with no changes in dash panel. The dealership stated I needed a dash cluster replaced.
Uconnect System pushed an update to an out of warranty vehicle. The OTA (over-the-air) update bricked (boot loop) the system that also includes the backup camera. The system continually reboots even with the car in the OFF position. If left, it will drain the battery and I cannot start the vehicle. I am forced to pull the fuse and am unable to use the backup saftey camera. No guidance from Jeep/Unconnect, as they do not post update files or a way to fix. Jeep dealerships want $1600 to replace the radio.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the Auto Start warning light had displayed on the instrument panel. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the auxiliary battery might need to be replaced. The contact's son replaced the battery; however, the warning light remained on the instrument panel. Recently, the contact stated that soon after starting the vehicle, the instrument panel went blank. After several attempts restarting the vehicle, the instrument panel returned to normal operation. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System); which was linked to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 72,400.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the contact became aware that rodents had damaged unknown parts inside the engine compartment. The contact also stated that the instrument panel was inoperable. The contact stated that on one occasion while driving 25 MPH, the transmission failed to operate as needed and the vehicle shifted into LIMP Mode. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact stated that several wiring harnesses were replaced, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.
ABS light came on, car will stop on its own while driving 70 miles an hour and kill the acceleration. steering will go out. speedometer will not work. check engine light will come on. gear shift gets stuck in place. This car is a major safety hazard that Jeep has ignored. I have gotten stuck on the side of the road on bridges, highways side streets due to the fact the gear shift will not move out of park and all the lights come on in the car.
ABS light will come on, speedometer will stop working, Gear shift will lock up and not move. Jeep will stop moving while on highway at random times without any warning. Steering will lock up on turns not allowing the vehicle to turn.
