All Forward Collision Avoidance Warnings Complaints
While driving my 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S, I experienced a sudden loss of regenerative braking, which caused the vehicle to take much longer to stop than normal. On initial brake application, deceleration was greatly reduced and required substantially more pedal travel and pressure to bring the vehicle to a stop. A “Regenerative Braking Failure” warning appeared in the instrument cluster. At the same time, the vehicle’s power output dropped. The display showed multiple warnings, including Electrical Vehicle System Fault (wrench-and-bolt icon) and Reduced Power (“turtle”). A message appeared stating that the vehicle would shut down soon. Additional messages indicated that the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) systems were disabled, further reducing braking support and collision avoidance capabilities. I was able to stop safely, shifted to Park, and powered off the vehicle. After opening and closing the driver’s door, I waited for all displays and indicator lights...
