2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON Steering Problems

Component: Engine / Electrical System / Fuel System Incident Date: February 9th, 2026 Vehicle Speed: 45-50 MPH Description: While traveling at highway speeds on a major roadway, the vehicle experienced a catastrophic and sudden engine stall without any prior warning or dashboard indicators. The engine shut off completely while in motion, resulting in an immediate and total loss of power steering and power-assisted braking. I was forced to perform a high-effort emergency maneuver in heavy traffic to reach the shoulder and avoid a collision. This vehicle is used to transport myself, my coworker and my family whose lives was placed in immediate danger by this failure. 2020 Hyundai Tuscon May I have had numerous incidents where my stereo navigation screen goes black, and then instantly comes back. This happens frequently; whether or not my phone is plugged in. I have stopped plugging my phone into the car. May 1, 2024 As I was backing into my garage this afternoon I started the turn to get into my driveway. WAS GETTING ON ENTRANCE RAMP TO INTERSTATE (180 CURVE RAMP) 35 NORTH BOUND FROM ROBINSON WHEN ORANGE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) WARNING LIGHT CAME ON.WHEN I WAS ABOUT 90 DEGREES INTO THE TURN. SHORTLY AFTER RED EPS CAME ON. POWER STEERING BECAME NON EXISTENT. I EXITED I-35 AT INDIAN HILLS AND TURNED THE POWER OFF ONCE I GOT TO SIDE OF ROAD.
