TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GEAR SELECTOR WAS PLACED INTO THE PARK POSITION; HOWEVER, THE WARNING LIGHT DISPLAYED THAT THE GEAR WAS NOT WHICH MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE AUTOMATIC DOORS TO LOCK. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE "PARK" WARNING INDICATOR WOULD CORRECT ITSELF AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS IN OPERATION OR WHEN THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO THE GEAR SHIFT. THE PART WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED WHEN THE COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 500. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
