2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE Structurebody Problems

When the child safety lock is engaged and the vehicle is in a driving or no-driving state, all the doors start to make a clicking noise. I am not sure if the child lock is engaged at this point, which creates safety issues, especially when driving with kids.

The contact owns a 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked and unoccupied, while attempting to close the front driver’s and passenger’s side doors, the contact became aware that the lower moldings had detached. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and it was determined that the clip attached to the molding had detached. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the decision made by the dealer was final and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 37,713.

The paint is peeling on my white Hyundai palisade. I see all over the internet that people are having issues with the white paint peeling. I cant find anyone who can help me. How can I get this fixed without cost?

Sunroof randomly exploded while I was driving.

The white paint on this 2022 Hyundai palisade is peeling on the roof, and in one place on the hood which is now causing rust. This has been a reported recall for other Hyundai models with the white paint. It looks as if the paint did it bond properly.

Sunroof shattered while driving down the highway without impact. Drove 8.5 hours of a 9.5 hour drive and the sunroof randomly shattered. There were no bumps in the highway at the time it occurred. We were going around a slight right hand curve. The glass breaking sounding like a gunshot. Glass sharps went inside and outside the cabin of the vehicle. The dealer can’t get the vehicle in for 3 weeks to fix it. Forums show others having the same issue with 2022 models.

Our family was driving home and we then heard a LOUD noise coming from the car roof. Startled from the unexpected boom, as there was not a car in front of us nor debris of any kind in the lane being driven in. The windshield was free of any cracks/damage as well as the front body of the vehicle. The sunroof shattered on it's own. Luckily the sunroof cover was closed and glass did not enter the interior vehicle, a big blessing as our children were in the second and third row seats. If the sunroof interior cover was open, mutitiple children would've possibly suffered eye damage due to the trajectory of the glass shattering to the rear of the vehicle. Two days ago, my husband took our vehicle to the car wash. At the other end of the car wash, it was discovered that the closed panoramic sunroof was completely destroyed during the process. Shards of glass were everywhere. We have contacted Hyundai and they have told my husband there is no class action suit about this problem. Even though it is under warranty, as it is a 2022, they refuse to take responsibility to take care of the damages. I have found through my research, that this was a class action lawsuit, which was closed in 2017, but continues to be a very bad problem for not only Hyundai but many other vehicles using a particular type of glass. we are now unable to get the parts to repair it, as the glass company cannot get a part from Hyundai, and Hyundai refuses to comply comply.

The tract that the front seat move back or forth on are dangerous while cleaning or removing mats as the end of tracts are very sharp and can slice your hand when pulling mat out or just cleaning
