SRS LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON EVEN AFTER HAVING CAR INSPECTED BY MY LOCAL HONDA DEALER AT A COST TO ME OF OVER $100. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE SRS SYSTEM AND RESET THE LIGHT. I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT MANY HONDA AUTOS HAVE THIS PROBLEM. I DON'T WANT TO KEEP HAVING TO SPEND $100+ TO HAVE THE CAR INSPECTED ONLY TO BE TOLD THERE IS NOTHING WRONG (AND THE LIGHT RESET) BUT AT THE SAME TIME I DON'T WANT TO BE IN AN ACCIDENT AND HAVE MY AIRBAGS NOT DEPLOY. *JB

SRS LIGHT IS ON; THEREFORE, IS NOT WORKING. LIGHT HAS BEEN ON SINCE 5/01 PULLED A CODE 06-3. COST OVER $600 TO REAIR, OWNER (FRIEND) DECLINED. BOUGHT THE CAR USED (FRIEND), DEALERSHIP RESET THE LIGHT BUT IT CAME BACK ON. I HAVE READ NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ONLINE OF OTHERS WITH THE SAME SITUATION. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE WITH HONDA, NEEDS TO BE A RECALL AS THIS IS SUCH A KEY SAFETY FEATURE. *NM

ON SUNDAY SEPT. 28, 2003 MY DOOR LOCKS FAILED, THE ELECTRIC WINDOW CONTROLS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE FAILED TO OPERATE THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOWS (HOWEVER THE WINDOW CONTROLS ON THE INDIVIDUAL DOORS STILL WORKED) AND MY SRS INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON. I HAD THE IGNITION REPLACED AND IT CURED THE DOOR LOCK AND ELECTRIC WINDOW PROBLEM. THE SRS INDICATOR LIGHT IS STILL ON. THE DEALER REFUSES TO RESET THE CODE FRO THE SRS LIGHT AND WANTS TO CHARGE A $88.00 DIAGNOSTIC FEE. THIS PROBLEM IS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE FAULTY IGINITION SWITCH AND SHOULD BE FIXED!
