2021 GENESIS GV80 Electrical System Problems

MY HEADLIGHT WENT OUT. IT HAS WATER CONDENSATION IN IT DECEMBER 2023 NEEDS TO BE RECALLED

I have had my GV80 prestige since 2021. Recently the headlights started developing moisture in them. I found out this is an issue with a lot of the genesis. The lights are poorly designed causing water to flow down through the headlights into the light module which makes all the lights on that side of the vehicle inoperable. The vehicle will not pass safety inspection. Currently Genesis advertise that they are out of stock on the drivers side light. So you will be without a vehicle until they make more. My car is currently sitting at the Genesis dealership waiting on parts. This has happened to a lot of genesis owners. Should be a recall item, but it’s not. I

Battery begins discharge without warning while driving the vehicle. System begins complete shutdown without warning. Experiencing clunking and or jerking while driving no matter if speed acceleration/deceleration. Infotainment system goes out of function without notice - radio, sound, navigation, and safety cameras included. I feel unsafe during driving this vehicle as it does not give any warning when these issues occur. Once in traffic I had to slam on breaks after the truck just shot off after lightly pressing the gas to move forward. Whenever the vehicle is taken in for inspection, no issues are found. I reported the clunking before, the dealer claimed it was a faulty fuel pump. This is a brand-new vehicle and none of these issues should be happening.

Safety Issues: • Battery runs out of charge within one day without any rational reason (i.e., no lights, no alarm, no equipment in use) which put me at risk since the car would stop at any time without any warning. • Then, the Genesis Connected Services will sent alert messages every three (3) minutes for minor events (e.g., washer fluid low, window open, door unlocked…). Those same two problems were reproduced at HYUNDAI RICK CASE DAVIE FL – Official Agent even after two GENESIS FIELD SERVICE ENGINEERS changed the following parts (between May 203 and August 2023): i.JUNCTION BOX ASSY (Ref. 91950-T6032): The junction box assemble is the main fuse box on the driver’s side under the dash. ii.JUNCTION BLOCK-SUB (Ref. 91957-T6500): The junction box sub assembly is the fuse box location in the rear of the vehicle on the driver’s side. iii.AUDIO UNIT (Ref. 96560-T6600): The radio and navigation...

Child window and door locks malfunction along with mirror controls and all window controls from driver door panel. Repeated random events have occurred

The infotainment system on my GV80 works for 5 minutes and shuts down. The lane change warning light and front collision warning goes on and off while driving. the back-up camera and warning stopped working. When you park the vehicle, it takes at least it takes 10 minutes to completely shut down
