Consequence: A missing emergency exit can prevent or delay occupants from exiting in an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will install an emergency exit window, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River's number for this recall is 17-1927.

The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.
Consequence: Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.

Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Cherokee CKT20-0G travel trailers. During installation, an incorrect length screw was used to install the microwave, which allowed the screw to enter the microwave compartment.
Consequence: The presence of a screw in the microwave compartment can cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire.

Consequence: Hitch failure increases the risk of a crash or injury.
