THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS IN THE FRONT END HAVE BEN REPLACED THREE TIMES DUE TO A NOISE PROBLEM WHEN GOING OVER A SPEED BUMP OR BUMP IN THE ROAD.

SINCE APROX 500 MILES I HAVE NOTICED A VERY CONSISTENT KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK NOISE COMING FROM THE RIGHT SIDE REAR WHEEL AREA. FORD DEALER LOOKED AND HAS SAID ITS A NORMAL OPERATING NOISE FOR THE CAR PER FOR ENGINEERS. I DO NOT AGREE. ITS A KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK AT LOW, PARKING LOT SPEEDS AND CAN BE HEARD DRIVING STRAIGHT OR A LITTLE EASIER TO HEAR WHEN TURNING. AS I DRIVE MY CAR OVER BUMPS (SPEED BUMPS, GOING UP OR DOWN IN PARKING GARAGE) THE CAR GRUNTS OR SQUEAKS. I BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW ON MARCH FIRST OF 2014, AND I NOTICED THE PROBLEM NOT TOO LONG AFTER BUYING IT; I ASSUMED IT WAS NORMAL BECAUSE MY PREVIOUS 2007 MUSTANG HAD THE SAME ISSUE. I TOLD SOME FRIENDS WHO SUGGEST I TAKE IT TO FORD. WHEN I WAS DESCRIBING WHAT THE PROBLEM THE SERVICE TECH NEW EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS. THEY HAD A RECALL FOR 2011 TO 2013 MUSTANGS FOR WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE SAME ISSUE. THEY REPAIRED THE LOWER ARM CONTROLS IN THE FRONT. THE ISSUE IS NOW GONE. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE RECALL SHOULD BE EXTENDED TO 2014 MODELS. I HAVE A 2014 FORD MUSTANG 3.7L V6 WITH THE PERFORMANCE PACKAGE. I HAD A BLOW OUT THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED AND I COULD NOT STOP IT I ENDED UP HITTING A CURB WHICH ACTUALLY STOPPED THE VEHICLE AND THE TIRE ROD WAS BROKE THE STEERING WAS OUT THE SUSPENSION WAS OUT THE COMPLETE BRAKE SYSTEM WAS OUT I WAS THANKFUL THAT MY CHILD TO JUST BE BRUISED BECAUSE THERE WAS A HOLE ON SIDE OF TIRE BIGGER THAN 1/2 DOLLAR. I WAS TOLD THE TIRES WOULD NOT BLOW OUT (AT DEALER SHIP) AND PAID EXTRA WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR FOR THE PROTECTION. I CALLED FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE REGARDING THE DAMAGE THE VEHICLE OCCURRED JUST BECAUSE OF A BLOW OUT . THE WOMAN WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND SAID YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE HIT A CURB ANY EXPERIENCE DRIVERS OUT HERE KNOWS IF YOU HIT A CURB IT DOES NOT CAUSE THIS DAMAGE AND I AM THANKFUL FOR MY INSURANCE AS THEY ARE LOOKING...

FAILURE OF FRONT DRIVERS SIDE LOWER CONTROL ARM, FAILURE OF DRIVESHAFT, FAILURE OF REAR END AND SUSPENSION. SYMPTOMS' LOWER CONTROL ARM- BANGING NOISE THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE STRUT HAD NO FLUID. DRIVESHAFT BANGING NOISE AS IF THE SHAFT SPLINES HAD STRIPPED OR CV JOINT LOOSE FAILURE WAS CAUGHT BEFORE IT DAMAGED THE CAR. REAR END, WHINING NOISE AND BANGING NOISE FROM SUSPENSION UPON TAKE OFF, MANUAL TRANS CAR. EVENTUAL LOCK UP OF REAR END. CAR UNCONTROLLABLE WONDERING FROM REAR OF CAR. FORD ONLY RECOGNIZES THE CONTROL ARM AS AN ISSUE, AND HAS A RECALL. NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS TO FORD FOR THE DRIVESHAFT AND REAR END ISSUES. V6 AND V8 CARS WITH MANUAL TRANS. *TR
