2021 FORD F-250 Unknown Or Other Problems

I was driving on I-77 WV Turnpike when suddenly my moon roof shattered. No other vehicles were around and no overpasses in sight. When I pulled over, the glass was raised as if the blowout came from inside the vehicle. It sounded like a gunshot went off inside my truck. Vehicle has been repaired. Replacement glass was $1,800.00

Both the driver and passenger mirrors will not fully adjust. The mirrors need a different adjustment for standard driving and when towing a travel trailer. Neither mirror will properly adjust for towing and non towing applications. The lack of proper mirror adjustment causes a safety issue as the driver cannot see things in their full scope due to the mirror misalignment. I have almost had two accidents due to the mirrors not being able to be properly adjusted. Ford is aware of this issue on 2017 to 2023 F150, F250 and F350 trucks with the tow mirrors. Ford has issued a Special Service Message#51829. Ford has a cleaning procedure they wish to be done as part of the diagnostics but Ford and the Ford Dealer will not release this information. Hi. I took my 2021 f250 6,7 to the ford dealership as it was having trouble starting, and just wasn’t running great. They changed the batteries, and told me it was a NOX sensor. So I went and got my truck to fix the sensors myself; because they wanted to charge me close to 3 grand. The next day I got up, lo and behold it wouldn’t crank. I had to have it towed back to the dealership. I tested codes before I had it towed, and took a video of it not cranking. The following codes showed. Door latch sensor on rear passenger has failed. Says door is ajar when door is latched correctly. 300 miles out of warranty and they would not cover it.

I have tried multiple times to get AutoNaton Ford in Union City Georgia to rectify these issues. They have claimed they don't have an autobody shop to complete the required repairs. At one point, they had my vehicle for almost 2 weeks and they still did not complete the repairs.

Head light housing retains moisture on the inside of the lens both headlights on truck. May be causing shortage of the wires

While driving, rear window spontaneously exploded. Entire glass broke out of frame. Not while hitting bump or any other unusual concussions made to vehicle. No rear defroster on. Car has under 5,000 miles. We had for over 2 years, only used rarely.

When towing a trailer, the Trailer brakes stop working. the brakes, using the pedal and lights all work perfectly on truck and trailer. But if you squeeze the brake control paddles, you immediately get a trailer disconnected message and although all lights still work, the brake controller does NOT. Then sometimes, just driving and perhaps stopping at a gas station, the trailer brakes also stop working and you don't realize until going down a hill. This has happened multiple times. 6/25/22 around 5:30PM, my 2021 F250 7.3 gas engine with 10k miles experienced sudden unintended acceleration. At McDonald’s pickup window foot firmly on brake pedal, my truck felt like it was being pushed away from window. Truck got up to speed of approx. 5 mph and moved forward around 30 feet, shifted truck out of drive and RPMs when up to 5k. Foot was on brake pedal the entire time. Turned truck off and walked around truck to confirm no damage, problem has not yet happened again.

Tailgate realize button in cab also on remote works while vehicle is in motion. While reaching to adjust my pedals while towing on the highway at approximately 70mph tailgate button was pressed, allowing my payload to full all over the Highway. This could easy result in injury or death to others traveling on the Highway. Also, in certain states including Florida, children are aloud to ride in beds of pickup trucks.

Speed Control: During night driving on 11/25/2021 at 65 mpg on I-80, I released my foot from the accelerator to slowdown, BUT the F-250 failed to slow down. Upon applying the brakes, the truck slowed (a message on the dash stated I applied the brakes), BUT, upon releasing the brakes, the truck ACCELERATED. PURCHASED A NEW TRUCK AND IT HAD A OPEN RECALL. I FOUND OUT WHEN I INSTALLED FIRST PASS. IT POPPED UP IN MESSAGE. WE ALSO HAD DAMAGE ON TRUCK AND THEY REFUSED TO PAY FOR IT. WE HAD TO TURN IN INSURANCE. THEY SOLD 3 OTHER TRUCKS SAME TIME WITH OPEN RECALL.
