SPARK PLUG BLOWING OUT OF HEAD ON MY FORD 250 SUPER DUTY V10 2000 YEAR. *TR
WHILE DRIVING TO WORK ON OCTOBER 7, 2009 I HAD A SPARK PLUG BLOW OUT OF CYLINDER #3 OF MY 2000 FORD SUPER DUTY V-10. THIS COST ME $125 DOLLARS OF TOWING, AND $350.00 IN REPAIR. I PULLED OVER IMMEDIATELY TO REDUCE THE CHANCE OF ANYMORE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SPARK PLUG AFTER HEARING IT BOUNCING UNDER THE VEHICLE. HOPEFULLY IT DIDN'T CAUSE ANY DAMAGE TO OTHER VEHICLES ON THE FREEWAY AT THE TIME. *TR
THE BLOWING OUT OF SPARK PLUG ON 2000 F-250. I WAS LEAVING WALMART PARKING LOT WHEN I HEARD A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE MOTOR, I STOP OPENED THE HOOD AND SAW THE SPARK PLUG LAYING ON TOP OF THE MOTOR. *TR
ESOF SYSTEM FOR 4-WHEEL DRIVE FOR 2000 FORD F250 WITH 77K MILES: THE ESOF ON MY TRUCK FAILED TO DISENGAGE THE FRONT HUBS, LEAVING THEM PERMANENTLY IN THE LOCKED POSITION. THE DEALER INFORMED ME THAT THE HUBS, MOTOR, ETC OF THE ESOF SYSTEM HAD TO BE REPLACED DUE TO CORROSION AND WATER IN THE SYSTEM. I AM NOT SURE HOW THIS HAPPENED SINCE THE ONLY WATER I ENCOUNTER IS WHAT IS ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN IT RAINS. EVIDENTLY THE HUBS HAD BEEN LOCKED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, AS IT LED TO ADDITIONAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINTS, WHICH ALSO HAD TO BE REPLACED. *TR
PROBLEMS WITH TRANSMISSION, FRONT AXLE AND VIBRATION.*MR THE CONSUMER HAS ATTEMPTED TO HAVE THE PROBLEMS RESOLVED APPROXIMATELY 6 TIMES IN TWO YEARS. THE CONSUMER IS SEEKING RELIEF UNDER THE MICHIGAN LEMON LAW. *NM
