The contact stated that the seat belt warning light failed to illuminate with a passenger seated in the front passenger’s seat without the seat belt securely fastened. The driver's side seat belt alarm operated correctly. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer who could not duplicate the failure with the alarm. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not equipped with a front passenger’s side seat belt sensor alarm. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure.
