The vehicle drove off the road into a ditch. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact had not sustained any injury and was able to drive to the nearby residence. The contact is an independent mechanic. The contact scanned the vehicle and retrieved DTC code: P1500, indicating a rear output speed sensor failure. The contact determined that the TCM needed to be replaced. The contact purchased the TCM from the dealer and replaced the TCM. The vehicle was repaired.
