PREPARING TO TURN LEFT FROM US69 ONTO COUNTY ROAD. LEFT TURN SIGNAL ON. BEGAN THE TURN AND A PICKUP BEGAN TO PASS ON THE LEFT. HE RAN OFF OF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY AT A HIGHWAY SPEED. VERY NEARLY ROLLED. COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WOULD PASS AS I WAS TURNING LEFT. LATER, A FRIEND WAS FOLLOWING ME AND CALLED ME ON ME CELL AND ASKED IF I KNEW MY RIGHT BLINKER WAS FLASHING WHEN I CHANGED LANES TO THE LEFT. PULLED OVER TO TEST. SOMETIMES IT WOULD BLINK LEFT. OTHER TIMES IT WOULD GO IMMEDIATELY TO THE RIGHT BLINKER. OTHER TIMES IT WILL START LEFT AND SWITCH TO THE RIGHT. GOOGLING THE PROBLEM, I FIND IT IS A PROBLEM WITH THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH AND FROM THE DODGE DIESEL FORUMS, BEEN AROUND FOR AWHILE AND QUITE COMMON. DODGE EVIDENTLY DENIES THERE IS A PROBLEM. TOTALLY INCONCEIVABLE THAT A PART...
I SIGNAL LEFT WITH THE TURN SIGNAL BUT THE RIGHT TURN SIGNAL ACTIVATES. IT HAPPENS ABOUT 30% OF THE TIME. GATHERING INFORMATION TO CORRECT IT NOW. FROM THE BOARDS IT APPEARS IT IS THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH. *TR
