TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN INTERNAL FAILURE AND THE RADIO SHORTED OUT. THE DEALER (LAWTON CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM, 215 SE INTERSTATE DR, LAWTON, OK 73501, (580) 350-6000) DIAGNOSED THAT IT WAS DUE TO A HARDWARE FAILURE, BUT PROVIDED NO SOLUTION. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO NOTIFY SIRIUS XM. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED SIRIUS XM AND WAS INFORMED TO NOTIFY THE WARRANTY COMPANY TO SERVICE THE RADIO. THE RADIO FAILURE WAS NOT RESOLVED. THE VEHICLE WAS RECENTLY PURCHASED LESS THAN 30 DAYS AGO AND THE DEALER PROVIDED NO REASON AS TO WHY THEY HAD NOT COMPLETED THE RECALL REPAIR FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V907000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) PRIOR TO SELLING THE VEHICLE.
