The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The contact stated that the vehicle would start occasionally. The contact researched and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 10V200000 (Electrical System). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was unavailable.

Got rear ended day later hears a winding noise and engine light came on then Battery light came on. When driving next day all lights on dash board came on and car died. Thought was battery changed it then restarted car. Next day bring to get diagnosed and said altnator was testing bad so had that replaced but Battery light stayed on. Took to collision center dodge and they said pcm was bad so had that replaced. The mechanic stated common problem when altnator dies it burns up the pm module. So I had to wait 2 months for it to get replaced and now changed still the check engine lights and battery light is on.

2010 police charger fobik started falling out of ignition.. problem continues dealership says no big deal eventually the day came when I tried to turn the car off and I couldn't switch will no longer turn to the off position... Every time I want to turn the car off I have to pop the hood pull a fuse then get in the trunk and disconnect the battery. I went online did a recall search and found that I have no open recalls however I found hundreds if not thousands of people are having this same issue... Dealership said it was on me... I found online a recall notice k08 on cars built between Jan and March with this issue have a recall mines built in Feb but the vin number shows no recall wtf... Plugged in my scan tool which knows my vin and showed me the same recall notice...

WIN MODULE IS BEING REPLACED AT A HEARTY PRICE. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO THIS SITUATION AS THE WIN MODULE IS BEING USED IN NEWER MODELS.
