Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, A KNOCKING NOISE WAS HEARD AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE, ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL, AND THE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIMING BELT, THE CYLINDER HEAD, FUEL GASKET, AND WATER PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
