HELLO, ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19TH, I EXPERIENCED A CATASTROPHIC FAILURE OF A YOKOHAMA ICEGUARDIG20 TIRE. THE ENTIRE INSIDE SIDE WALL OF THE TIRE COMPLETELY FAILED. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT NAMED "YOKO TIRE FAILURE - 2016FEB26.PDF" FOR DETAILS OF THE EVENT A PHOTOS. THE OTHER ATTACHED DOCUMENTS CONTAIN INFORMATION ON THE COST TO REPLACE THE FAILED TIRE. I SUBMITTED CORRESPONDENCE TO YOKOHAMA ON FEBRUARY 26TH, 2016. THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED IN 60 DAYS SO I AM SUBMITTED TO THE NHTSA TO LODGE A COMPLAINT. THE YOKOHAMA WEBSITE CLEARLY INDICATES THERE IS A FIVE YEAR WARRANTY. HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT RESPOND TO DATE. I AM QUITE DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR LACK OF RESPONSE. ANY ASSISTANCE WITH THIS ISSUE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. I NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE IN NEARLY THIRTY YEARS OF MY DRIVING EXPERIENCE. GOODYEAR EAGLE TIRE SIZE 22570R16 WITH LESS THAN SIX THOUSAND MILES ON IT HAVE DEVELOPED FLAT SPOT ON TIRES WHICH HAVE CAUSED VEHICLE TO SKID WHEN BRAKING. ALSO THERE IS VIBRATION IN FRONT END. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS.*AK
