CHRYSLER 300C 2006, OUTER TIE ROD BROKE AT 30K AND AGAIN AT 37K MILES. I BOUGHT CAR NEW, AND IT ALWAYS HAD A VIBRATION DEALER TOLD ME AT ALL COMPLAINTS THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG AND IT WAS TIRES. REPLACED/CHANGED TIRES AFTER 30K TIE ROD CHANGE, AND IT DID LITTLE FOR VIBRATION. ON STATE INSPECTION TODAY, WAS SHOWN THAT TIE ROD HAD 1/2 INCH OF PLAY ON REPLACEMENT MOPAR PART. SEARCH ONLINE FINDS THAT THIS IS A COMMON COMPLAINT. *TR

ON JUNE 11, 2009 I WENT IN TO HAVE TIRES PUT ON MY 2006 CHRYSLER 300 AT SOUTHERN TIRE, LEXINGTON PARK, MARYLAND. THE MECHANIC CALLED ME TO INFORM ME THAT THE INNER TIE RODS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED PRIOR TO PUTTING TIRES ON THE VEHICLE, AND THAT HE HAD CALLED THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP, PARK DODGE, CHRYSLER JEEP AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PART WAS ON BACK ORDER FOR 6 MONTHS AND THERE WAS A TOTAL OF 3,123 ON BACK ORDER. I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP MYSELF THE SAME EVENING AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE PARTS MANAGER BY PHONE AND ORDERED THE PART ( P/N 68028831AC) BUT WAS TOLD THE SAME THING. HE INFORMED ME THAT I SHOULD CALL THE CUSTOMER CARE LINE AT CHRYSLER FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE. I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE LINE THAT EVENING TO EXPRESS MY CONCERNS AND WAS TOLD THAT BECAUSE OF THE STATE OF CHRYSLER I SHOULD...
