Due to a defect of my cylinder head gasket being diagnosed as my car causing a leak. I will be driving on the freeway, highway in the snow on ice in the summer Wherever, suddenly my engine shuts down. I lose my power steering, my brakes and my safety. I have had my vehicle checked out and nobody can find anything because there are no codes that are being thrown. No dashboard lights going on nothing to indicate there's an issue. The safety of me my mother who rides with me often my grandchildren are at risk. Most recently it happened during a ice rain we had and I can't push on my brakes and my power steering is gone and my car spins in the middle of the road because I have no control over it. The only thing that I have been able to maybe come up with is something in the engine that was discovered maybe in 2015 something about a PCM I believe....

The first time this incident occured I was driving in a residential neighborhood and my horn started randomly honking. Over the past few months the horn will randomly start honking and will continously honk for long periods of time. The horn will blast for miles and there is nothing that I can do to make it stop. Engine keeps overheating with no engine codes I have changed the thermostat the thermostat housing the radiator both fans and the water pump and none of this has fixed the problem the coolant doesn’t cycle from the coolant reservoir regardless of coolant levels are low or depleted. This is going to lead to bigger problems in the engine and the mechanics are out of Awnser as to what is happening.

Vehicle will turn off while driving, causing steering wheel to lock up. This has happened 3 times. Engine light has come on this time and has codes U0100, U0121 and U11. I’ve had the vehicle checked at NTB, but was told these must be addressed by Chrysler. My safety has been affected while driving on the interstate and the vehicle shut down.

Numerous problems with vehicle refusing to start when ignition switch turned on. The dealership could not find a problem. The vehicle then ran for a period of time without additional issues. In April of 2022 the problem resurfaced. After trying for two days to start the vehicle, it started and I took it to a Chrysler dealership. The mechanic indicated the car needed a new starter. The starter was replaced on 4/20/2022. On 5/10/2022 the dealership inspected the vehicle and did an oil and filter change. No problems were found. At first the car started making chirping sound on the right side when ever the car idles. While slowing to a stop, the vehicles engine sputtered and shook, and ultimately shut down. All power steering and braking capabilities were lost, leaving the vehicle in a drift. The vehicle had to be put into PARK to be halted. Fortunately, I was slowing in a neighborhood near a driveway, and was traveling slowly. Had this happened on a major road or freeway (and I have in fact detected this lurching before in such conditions), I or others could be seriously injured in a high speed collision. THE CAR WON'T STOP OVERHEATING, WE HAVE REPLACED THERMOSTATS AND PUMPS THINKING THERE WAS A LEAK BUT THAT NEVER STOPPED THE PROBLEM. 20 SECONDS AFTER STARTING THE CAR THE ENGINE IS ALREADY AT THE HALFWAY MARK FOR HOW HOTT IT IS, AND EVEN GOIGN 30 MILES AN HOUR GET ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP AND STARTS OVERHEATING. VEHICLES STALLS WHILE DRIVING RANDOMLY, THIS COULD BE 5 MINUTES OR 2 HOURS AFTER VEHICLE IS DRIVEN, AND AFTER VEHICLE SITS FOR A WHILE, 1/2 HOUR TO AN HOUR, VEHICLE STARTS RIGHT UP WITH NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR ANY HISTORY/PENDING/CURRENT CODES.. SOMETIMES IT'LL START UP JUST FINE RIGHT AFTERWARDS LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED AND SOMETIMES IT'LL TAKE A MINUTE OR TWO TO START UP. IT MAY START A RIGHT BACK UP THEN CUT RIGHT BACK OFF OR IT MAY START UP AND BE FINE UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. SOMETIMES IT ONLY STARTS BACK UP WHEN I DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL FOR A FEW SECONDS. *TR

HEAT IS NOT COMING OUT OF RIGHT SIDE VENTS, BLOWING COLD AIR. TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY FOUND AN ISSUE WITH THE HEATER CORE AND IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THERE'S A BUILD UP OF BROWN SLUDGE IN THE COOLING SYSTEM. CAR HAS 68000 MILES ON IT. THIS WILL BE THE SECOND REPLACEMENT. LAST ONE WAS REPLACED AT 37,000 MILES.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED BUT NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 114,000.

I ONLY HAVE HEAT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE CAR. WE JUST HIT OUR 100,000 BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY. HAD THE CAR IN THE SHOP TWICE WITH COOLANT SMELLS. MECHANICS NEVER FOUND A PROBLEM. EVERYWHERE I READ THERE ARE TONS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE. THIS IS A $1000.00 REPAIR! A FLUSH IS $150-170. WE HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS. I'M READY TO TRADE IT IN BUT I DO LOVE MY CAR. NOT SURE ABOUT HOW I FEEL ABOUT CHRYSLER KNOWING ABOUT A ISSUE AND NOT OFFERING ASSISTANCE WITH THE REPAIR. MAYBE THEY BETTER SEND OUT A MASSIVE REBATE TO OLD OWNERS IN HOPES OF THEM STAYING A CUSTOMER.

TOOK CAR IN TO DEALERSHIP YEARS AGO TO HAVE HEAD REST AND AIRBAGS FIXED. RECEIVED A NOTICE BY INPUTTING MY VIN THAT THESE FIXES WERE INCOMPLETE . ALSO DISCOVERED THAT THE 3.6 PENTASTAR ENGINE FROM THE FACTORY HAD SUBSTANDARD ENGINE BEARINGS WHICH COULD RESULT IN THE ENGINE SEIZURE AND THE REMEDY WAS FOR THE FACTORY TO REPLACE THE ENGINE. MY 2012 CHRYSLER 200 WAS MANUFACTURED DURING THIS TIME FRAME, YET WAS NEVER NOTIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER OF THIS DANGEROUS CONDITION.

THE DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR SPECIFICS WERE NOT DISCLOSED. THE FAILURE RECURRED AFTER THE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 105,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.

NO HEAT/ DEFROST ON PASSENGER SIDE APPARENTLY CAUSED BY ENGINE BLOCK MANUFACTURING PROCESS FLUIDS MIXING WITH ANTIFREEZE CAUSING A BLOCKAGE IN HEATER CORE. IF THEY KNEW, THEN THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL, INSTEAD OF PROFITING ON THE REPAIRS NEEDED TO CORRECT.

I HAVE A 2012 CHRYSLER 200 THAT STALLS RANDOMLY. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN FOR SERVICE AND DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES AND NO RESULTS. THE SYSTEM HAS ABSOLUTELY NO CODES STORED IN THE SYSTEM.
