I PURCHASED A NEW 2007 CHEVY TAHOE IN JULY OF 2007. SEPTEMBER 2007 I HAD TO TAKE THE SUV IN TO HAVE THE REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER CABLE REATTACHED TO THE REAR WINDOW, IT FELL OFF. AFTER DISCUSSING WITH SERVICE MANAGER, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A DESIGN DEFECT, THE WIRE WAS NOT LONG ENOUGH AND THE TENSION FROM OPENING THE REAR GLASS CAUSES THE CABLE TO BREAK FREE. THEY HAD A WINDOW COMPANY RE-ATTACH IT, ONE WEEK LATER, I WAS BACK IN AND A NEW REAR WINDOW WAS ORDERED. IN NOVEMBER 2008 I HAD THE CABLE BREAK FREE ON THE REPLACED REAR WINDOW, I HAD IT REPAIR, THAN THE OTHER SIDE DETACHED. I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY ADVISE THAT IT COULD NOT BE FIXED BASED ON THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE RELEASED SERVICE CORPORATION BULLETIN (#03-08-48-006E).
