2013 CHEVROLET IMPALA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO FRONT END NOISE WHILE TRAVELING AT A LOW SPEED. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THAT THE WHEEL BEARING WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. *JS

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER MORE THAN THREE TIMES, BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO REPLICATE AND DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE IF THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.

APPARENTLY THIS HAS BEEN A COMMON PROBLEM WITH IMPALAS FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW THAT GM IS SEEMINGLY UNABLE TO FIX. HAD I KNOWN ABOUT THIS ISSUE I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED AN IMPALA. GM SOLD ME A LEMON.
