Codes p2227 and code p0299 are coming up machine says this is a known issue with 2021 to 2023 Chevy equinox and there is a lot of water in intake and engine is in limp mode 1.5L engine, are known to experience issues with moisture accumulation in the intake system, specifically within the charge air cooler (CAC). On 1/22/25 took my car in for warranty repairs of the air induction system. The dealership claimed they fixed it, On 2/17/25 went back letting the dealership know the issue was not fixed but the told me that they didn’t see anything wrong. yet a year later to the date I am having the same issue visit the dealership for them to let the car thaw and cleared code for my check engine light to pop back on and reduce engine speed once again

Turbo began failing at 75k miles. For no apparent reason. Dealership is telling customers it occurs for whatever reason between 60k and 150k miles.

Ever so often my check engine will pop on and everything will go haywire. The park assist will cut on and off periodically as well as the automatic high beams and also the infotainment system will connect to my phone and randomly make phone calls at any time. I'm usually alerted of this malfunction when I start the vehicle. Also, the auto stop/start will be active but will continue running when brake is applied. And the final issue is one of the majors, my automatic remote start only works periodically. I'll use this feature from my window which is about 55 ft from my car and the lights will come on but when I get to my car it's not running and everything is off. There is definitely an electrical issue in the vehicle. I have only had the vehicle 3 months and the issue persist more and more frequently....

On July 20, 2024 I was leaving a stop sign to pull onto the highway. When I tried to accelerate, my car would not move. The engine attempted to get power, but it would not go. After a few minutes, the car would move but I could not get up to speed as quick as usual. The fuel pump module failed as I was driving 65 mph on the interstate. Thankfully, I was able to pull over without an incident. My safety was at risk stopping suddenly at this rate of speed and I was thankful I was in the right hand lane and able to pull off the road. After waiting an hour, my car was towed to the dealer and the fuel pump module has been replaced. There were no warning lamps or other symptoms prior to this failure. My car was covered under the warranty and I have contacted GM and filed a complaint regarding this situation as my car only has 9,000 miles on it.

My SUV started stalling a few days ago, but it was only for a short time. Now, it's getting worse, and the engine warning light has turned on. When I try to accelerate by putting gas, it's very slow. While driving at approximately 45-50 miles per hour, the engine completely failed. An Engine Failure/Failed/Reduced Power alert message appeared on the dash at the time of the event and the car lost all power, losing speed and coming to a stop.
