TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET AVEO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING INSPECTED BY A PRIVATE MECHANIC, THE WIRING HARNESS UNDER THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT SEAT CAUGHT FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE DEALER CONFIRMED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 123,000.
