TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CADILLAC SRX. UPON OPENING THE REAR HATCH DOOR, IT STARTED TO CLOSE BY ITSELF WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THIS WAS A RECURRING FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE REAR STRUT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
