WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, THE LOCKS ON THE DOORS WILL SUDDENLY LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK AND UNLOCK. AFTER THAT THE ENGINE SLOWS WAY DOWN LOSING POWER, THEN IT WILL BE OKAY TO GIVE IT MORE GAS AND IT SPEEDS UP. THE LAST COUPLE OF TIMES THIS HAPPENED, THE CAR LOST ALL POWER AND STAHLED.
When the driver seat is moved the service air bag light comes on. When you move the seat again the light goes off.
The contact owns a 2010 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle suddenly shut off. The contact stated that the ECM warning light had remained illuminated. Additionally, there was a burning odor inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who discovered water and mold under the carpet and electrical components submerged in the water. The cause of the failure was not yet determined, and the vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 144,000.
The power steering has issues when turning it seems to not work. Been have this problem for about a year. I’ve talked to other Buick owners and they have the same problem. I also have electrical issues on the drivers side door panel, where none of the switches work. Just all of a sudden quit.
THE CAR SHUT OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT, I WAS STARTING TO GO FROM SITTING AT A RED LIGHT AND IT JUST SHUT ITSELF OFF! I'VE JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR AND ALREADY IT'S A HUNK OF JUNK. ALSO THE AMOUNT OF ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS CAUSED BY WATER ENTERING THE MOTOR COMPARTMENT IS RIDICULOUS AND SHOULD BE A RECALL AS IT'S JUST A BAD DESIGN. THE AC FAN MOTOR LOCATED ABOVE THE PASSENGER FLOOR FILLS WITH WATER AND RUINS THE MOTOR. THE CAR SHUT OFF TODAY BECAUSE OF SHODDY SOLDERING.
11 MONTHS AFTER I BOUGHT MY BUICK THE ENGINE WENT OUT THE DEALER SAID IT WAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME THE REPLACEMENT USED ALL MY WARRANTY. AND THERE HAS BEEN ONE AFTER ANOTHER PROBLEM. MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKS DURING TURNS ALMOST HAD SOME REAL SERIOUS FINDER BENDERS. IT'S THROWING P420 CODE FOR BANK 2 AND NOW HAVE NO SOUND AT ALL EVERYTHING WORKS BUT NO BLINKERS, HAZARD, SEATBELT, BACKUP WARNING SOUNDS AT ALL WITH NO RADIO .

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE AUDIBLE WARNING CHIMES AND TURN SIGNAL CLICKING SOUND WHERE NOT PRESENT DUE A MALFUNCTION IN THE AUDIO AMPLIFIER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER BALLAS BUICK(5715 WEST CENTRAL AVE, TOLEDO OH.) WHO DIAGNOSED THAT AN ELECTRICAL SHORTAGE TO THE AUDIO AMPLIFIER HAD OCCURRED DUE TO THE WATER LEAKING INTO THE PANELS OF THE VEHICLE AND BEHIND THE FIRE WALL. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 168,000.
WATER IS GETTING TO THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OF THE AMPLIFIERS (BOSE SYSTEM) AND SHORTING THEM OUT. THAT MEANS THERE IS NO SOUND WHAT SO EVER INSIDE THE VEHICLE. NO BLINKERS, HAZARDS, RADIO OR IF THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON YOU WON'T HEAR IT, ONLY A VISIBLE ICON. THIS IS AN ISSUE NOT ONLY IN THE ENCLAVE, BUT THE ACADIA AS WELL AS THE SATURN OUTLOOK. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL A LONG TIME AGO. I REFUSE TO PAY FOR THIS WHEN IT'S AN ISSUE ACROSS THE BOARD.
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS AND CONDITIONS DOOR LOCKED GO UP AND DOWN, GAUGES GO CRAZY, TRANSMISSION DOWN SHIFTS, ENGINE DOESN'T DIE, PULL OVER AND EVERYTHING IS FINE UNTIL IT HAPPENS AGAIN
HVAC TEMPERATURE DOES NOT WORK ON PASSENGER SIDE; RIGHT SIDE TEMPERATURE MODE DOOR ACTUATOR HAS FAILED. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IT HAS HAPPENED. 2013 AND NOW 2018.
TAKATA RECALL. MY PARK ASSIST RADIO AND ALL OTHER SOUND WHEN COMPLETLY OFF I WENT TO THE STORE EVERYTHING WAS WORKING FINE ON MY WAY THERE. WHEN I GOT BACK IN THE CAR AND TURNED IT ON NOTHING TURNED ON.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (DONNELL FORD, 7955 MARKET ST, YOUNGSTOWN, OH 44512), BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,259.
WHAT WAS HAPPENING WAS THE CAR WOULD JUST START DOWNSHIFTING BY ITSELF, SPEED WAS DRASTICALLY REDUCED. IT DIDN'T MATTER HOW FAST OR SLOW I WAS GOING BUT IT DID HAPPEN ON THE EXPRESSWAY AND I WENT FROM 65MPH TO 40 MPH IN A MATTER OF SECONDS. HAD BEEN HAPPENING FOR A YEAR AND HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER 5 TIMES, THIS LAST TIME THEY HAD IT FOR 7 WEEKS AND REQUIRED GM TECH CENTER SUPPORT TO FINALLY GET IT FIXED. THIS WAS NOT ONLY A SAFETY ISSUE BUT ALSO A FIRE HAZARD. FOLLOWING IS THE FIX: NEC TO CHECK OTHER DATA CIRCUITS THAT MIGHT BACK FEED INTO HIGH SPEED CIRCUIT. FOUND CIRCUIT #6060 BACK FEEDING IN TO CIRCUIT 2500 CAUSING ITERMITTENT COMMUNICATION LOSS. FOUND CIRCUIT OVERLOAD AT CONTACT POINT G110. WAS SERVING AS A CONTACT POINT FOR NINE CIRCUITS AND OVERHEATING, CAUSING HIGH RESISTANCE AND LOSS OF DATA COMMUNICATION AT...
VEHICLE STAYS RUNNING AFTER IGNITION KEY IS TURNED OFF AND REMOVED. BRAKE PEDAL MAKES A SQUEAKING SOUND WHEN DEPRESSED.

ALSO, THE ABS WARNING INDICATOR FLASHED AND VARIOUS WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER MORE THAN FIVE TIMES, BUT COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE NUMEROUS TIMES FOR YEARS AND PROVIDED NO REPAIR SOLUTION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEM, ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL ISSUES. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED SHORTLY AFTER HE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE, HE DISCOVERED THE BRAKE LINING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, THE REAR LIFT GATE OPENED ON ITS OWN. ALSO, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WAS INOPERATIVE. *JB

THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE GROUND WIRES FROM THE 02 SENSOR HAD SHORTENED OUT. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXHIBITED PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION FAILING TO SHIFT OUT OF THIRD GEAR, THE STEERING GEAR WAS LEAKING, THE REAR BRAKE PAD AND SPRINGS HAD TO BE REPLACED AND THE ENGINE LIGHT CONTINUOUSLY STAYED ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
THE POWER STEERING ON MY 2010 BUICK ENCLAVE STOPPED WORKING SLOWLY. I WAS ALMOST UNABLE TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL AT ALL. NOT ONLY WAS THE POWER STEERING A PROBLEM, BUT THE "SERVICE AIRBAG" LIGHT HAD BEEN ON FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS. I TOOK THE CAR TO A LOCAL DEALERSHIP'S SERVICE DEPT & TOLD THE SERVICE REP THAT MY POWER STEERING WAS NOT WORKING. I ALSO ASKED THE AIRBAG RECALL BE DONE ON MY CAR. THE SERVICE REP ADVISED ME THERE WERE 2 RECALLS REQUIRED, BUT THE SECOND IF THE 2 REQUIRED SHE ORDER PARTS. I LEFT THE CAR, A DIAGNOSTIC WAS DONE ($119.50) & I WAS TOLD THE POWER STEERING PUMP & STEERING RACK WOULD COST APPROXIMATELY $2,000. I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP I HAVE USED FOR YEARS AND WHO I TRUST. THIS REPAIR SHOP REPLACED THE POWER STEERING PUMP, CLEANED METAL OUT OF...
THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILED. IT CEASED OPERATING. AS WELL, THE EMERGENCY FLASHERS CEASED WORKING. THERE NEEDS TO BE CAREFULLY DESIGNED REDUNDANCY FOR THE EMERGENCY FLASHERS WITH RECHARGEABLE BACKUP BATTERY. *TR
I HAVE NOTICED THAT MY BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT COME ON UNLESS THE KEY IS IN THE IGNITION AND TOWARD THE RUN POSITION. I WENT TO MY DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT IS HOW THEY ARE MADE NOW. I GUESS I AM WONDERING WHY AND ALSO IF THIS IS TRUE. THE BUTTONS ON MY UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM ON MY 2010 BUICK ENCLAVE ARE NOT ILLUMINATED WITH LED LIGHTS, THUS MAKING THEM NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE IN THE DARK, SO THAT I CAN OPEN OR CLOSE MY GARAGE DOOR. PRIOR TO 2010 THE UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM VENDOR FOR GENERAL MOTORS WAS WWW.HOMELINK.COM, AND THEIR CONTROL BUTTONS WERE ILLUMINATED WITH LED LIGHTS, WHICH MADE THEM REAL EASY TO SEE. THEN IN 2010/2011 GENERAL MOTORS CHANGED VENDORS TO WWW.LEARCAR2U.COM/ PROGRAM, AND THE THREE BUTTONS ON MY UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM ARE NO LONGER ILLUMINATED, MAKING THEM NOT ONLY EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND BUT I CONSIDER THEM A SAFETY HAZARD. I'M SO CONCERNED, THAT I HAVE DISCONTINUED USING MY UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM AND GONE BACK TO MY OLD GARAGE DOOR OPENER. GENERAL MOTORS PROBABLY SAVED A FEW BUCKS ON EACH UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM, BUT AT THE SAME TIME THEY CREATED A REAL HAZARD. I SURELY...
