Bulletin Summary
Rear Axle Locker Inoperative, Service Axle Locker Message Displayed. Discussion: Some customers may experience a, inop rear axle locker, and Service Axle Locker message. After further investigation, the technician may not find any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) set. However, intermittently, they may find the following DTCs set in the Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM). • C141C-11 Rear Differential Control Circuit Short To Ground. • C141C-13 Rear Differential Control Circuit Open. If the technician is working on a vehicle with the above condition, please perform the repair procedure below. Repair Procedure: 1. Remove the rear differential cover. 2. Inspect the e-locker actuator wiring harness for damage due to contact with the differential.
