Bulletin Summary
SERVICE BULLETIN M1573: REVOLUTION MAX TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that Harley-Davidson has specific areas of interest while troubleshooting on the Revolution® Max platform. These areas of interest should be used in conjunction with the Service Manual and Electric Diagnostic Manual while troubleshooting. This information should be used as an aid to current troubleshooting steps and not a replacement. Best practice is to first troubleshoot current Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), in order of priority if there are multiple.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
