SERVICE BULLETIN M1562: RH975 (NIGHTSTER) - HAND CONTROL MODULE UPDATE. PURPOSE: This service bulletin is to inform dealers of a Right Hand Control Module (RHCM)/Left Hand Control Module (LHCM) update that is available on Digital Technician II (DT II). This update is to address an unresponsive Hand Control Module (HCM) condition. This condition occurs at vehicle start up only. Vehicles exhibiting this condition will have no reaction to button or switch inputs from either HCM, multiple modules will report a Loss of Communication with RHCM/LHCM. The condition was able to be temporarily corrected with the removal and installation of the main fuse to reset the modules.
