Bulletin Summary
SERVICE BULLETIN M1571: REVOLUTION MAX CLUTCH PART AND SERVICE PROCEDURE CHANGE. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that Harley-Davidson Revolution® Max clutches will be serviced by a clutch disc kit and not with individual plates. A new clutch disc service kit (Part No. 37000383) will be provided for making clutch repairs on all Revolution® Max powered vehicles moving forward. The procedure of replacing individual discs is no longer recommended. If one steel or fiber plate requires replacement, a clutch disc kit will need to be installed. Online Service Manuals located in Service Information Portal (SIP) and future printed copies will reflect this information. See https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson.com for the latest electronic version of the service manual.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
