Consumer Description

THE PASSENGER SEAT CANNOT BE LATCHED IN POSITION UNTIL IT IS MOVED TO THE FULL REARWARD POSITION. AS THIS IS AN EXTENDED CAB TRUCK THERE MAY BE A BOX OR SOMETHING SIMILAR BEHIND THE SEAT. IN THIS CASE THE PASSENGER CANNOT LATCH THE SEAT RESULTING IN THE PASSENGER SLIDING TOWARDS THE DASH IF THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. ABOUT THE ONLY WAY TO DISCOVER THIS IS WHEN IT HAPPENS THE FIRST TIME AND YOUR PASSENGER IS ONLY STOPPED BY THE SEATBELT. IF THEY WERE NOT WEARING THEIR SEATBELT THEN THEY WOULD PROBABLY HIT THE DASH. NO VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED HAS HAD SUCH A SYSTEM.
