TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 CHEVROLET S-10. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SEAT FAILED TO STAY IN THE LOCKED POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS FOUND THAT THE BASE OF THE SEAT HAD FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 145,000.
