The contact stated that the A-pillar trims were cracked and loose. The contact stated that the rear-view camera operated as designed; however, there was no audible chime while the camera was operational. The local dealer was contacted for updates on parts availability and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 82,000.
