Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Taurus. The contact stated that while attempting to reverse, the rearview camera became inoperable. The rearview camera image was distorted and appeared upside down. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed and it was determined that the rearview camera system had failed and needed to be reprogrammed or replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000.
