NHTSA Complaint #11697666 — 2019 RAM 1500

Cannot put gas in tank without the gas pump continuously shutting off the flow. Was told by Dodge technicians that it was a faulty roll-over valve ( believe this is a safety item ) in the gas tank. Was told the only way to fix it is to replace the gas tank. They have had other dodge trucks in for the same problem. Being this is a safety item ( keeps gas from spilling out during a roll-over accident) I would think there should be a recall to repair. If possible could you also give me information on how to contact Dodge headquarters to register a complaint. This is a 1600.00 fix that I feel I should not be held responsible for. There are no warning lights accompanying this. Techs at JOHNSONS AND SONS dodge dealer in Wis. Rapids, WI. have recommended replacement to fix the problem.
