The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the rearview camera displayed a blank image while in reverse(R), and the message "Camera Unavailable" was displayed. The contact called the dealer and was informed that there was a recall on the VIN vehicle for the rearview camera. The contact arrived for the appointment and was informed that the recall was for the door latches and not the rearview camera. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
