NHTSA Complaint #11684692 — 2023 NISSAN ROGUE

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was initially taken to the dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed, nor was the failure duplicated. After months with no issues with the vehicle, the contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle started jerking and vibrating excessively while depressing the accelerator. There was no warning light illuminated. Due to the failure, the contact immediately pulled over and drove slowly. The contact called another dealer and made an appointment for service. Another diagnostic test was performed on the vehicle, but the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.
