NHTSA Complaint #11679264 — 2024 FORD F-150

[XXX]- Vehicle did not start, instrument cluster blacked out, infotainment screen blacked out. disconnected/reconnected battery myself everything worked. [XXX]- Instrument cluster blacked out, disconnected/reconnected battery myself, everything worked, dealership still towed vehicle in to diagnose. Same day dealership said the battery was "a little low" so they put a small charge on it and everything checked out fine. They said when I disconnect/reconnect the battery the codes are reset. So i should hope that the issue does not happen again but if it does, don't disconnect/reconnect the battery. [XXX]- Instrument cluster blacked out, drove straight to dealership where the service writer witnessed the issue and started a service file. Codes were pulled and in just the four days since it was last in the dealership there were multiple codes recorded (appx 40 over the four days). Diagnosis was a bad instrument cluster/computer module that is attached. It was replaced and vehicle returned 04 August 2025. [XXX]- Instrument cluster blacked out, drove straight to the dealership, where Service Writer, Service Manager, and Parts Manager all witnessed the same issue. Started another service file.
