Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2021 Kia Soul. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal ticking sound coming from the engine compartment, and the steering wheel was slightly difficult to turn. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by the dealer or an independent mechanic. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V259000 (Engine); which was previously performed on the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 24,000.
