Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V797000 (Power Train); however, the dealer had not called the contact back despite multiple calls to request an appointment. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the recall remedy was a software update to limit the transmission and power output. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
