Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the check engine light had illuminated and the vehicle had experienced rough operation. The vehicle was later towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the cam phasers were faulty and advised that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 144,000.
