The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving at approximately 60 MPH, the vehicle lost automotive power, and unintendedly shifted to LIMP Mode. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights were intermittently illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that there was an internal coolant leak, and that the head gasket needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 164,897.
