NHTSA Complaint #11663873 — 2014 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while in reverse, the back over prevention camera displayed orange and green lines across the screen. The screen was flashing on and off. The dealer was contacted and informed of the failure. The message advising the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer was displayed on the screen. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V315000 (Back Over Prevention). The dealer advised the contact to take the vehicle to be diagnosed and confirmed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.
